VACANT POST OF CLERK TO THE ARROW-
ROOT RESEARCH OFFICER, DEPARTMENT
OF AGRICULTURE, CAMDEN PARS
EXPERIMENT STATION.


Applications are invited for the non-
pensionable post of Clerk to the Arrow-
root Research Officer, Camden Park Ex-
periment Station, in the Department of
A'ric(ulture, under C.D. & W. Scheme
R-905.
The salary of the post is at the rate
of $1,104 per annum in the scale $1,104
x $72-$1,392. However, the success-
ful candidate's qualifications may de-
termine the point in the scale at which
he will be paid. A 20% Cost of Living
Allowance is also payable.
Duties will include clerical work and
assisting the Arrowroot Research Officer
in the laboratory and the field. Candi-
dates should have the Cambridge School
Certificate and Credits in Scientific sub-
jects will be advantageous. Applica-
tions should be in the applicant's own
handwriting and should be addressed to
the Chief Secretary, Government Office,
to reach him not later than 30th June,
1960.

It is announced for the information
of the public that the Commissioners ap-
pointed by His Honour the Administra-
tor under Section 2 of Cap. 212 of the
Laws of St. Vincent will hold meetings
in connection with the extension of the
Boundaries of the Town of Kingstown
at the Public Library, Kingstown, com-
mencing on Monday, 27th June, at
10.00 a.m.
Interested persons are requested to
submit to the Secretary of the Commis-
sioners, c/o The Office of the Kingstewn
Town Board, any suggestions or recom-
mendations which they deem suitable
for consideration.

Goods Vehicles and Trailers. (H.,
H.T., & T. Plates).

The attention of persons who own the
types of vehicles mentioned above, is
drawn to the provisions contained in
Regulations 20 and 21 and all amend-
ments thereto of the Motor Vehicle and
Road Traffic Regulations 1959, whereby
no licence may be issued or renewed for
such vehicles unless the Inspector certi-
fies that the vehicle complies with all
the provisions of the Ordinance and
of these Regulations.
The Inspector of Motor Vehicles will
be available at Police Headquarters
daily from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. except
on Sunday and Public Holidays, to en-
