of a certain parcel of land in the Cumberland Valley in the Parish of
St. Patrick for a public purpose.

DECLARATION OF ACQUISITION OF LAND.
(FIRST PUBLICATION.)
WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 3 of the Land Acquisition Ordinance, 1946
(No. 22 of 1946) that if the Governor in Council considers that any land should
be acquired for a public purpose he may cause a declaration to that effect to be
made:
APD WHEREAS it is considered by the Governor in Council that the under-
mentioned parcel of land should be acquired for a public purpose, to wit, the
improvement cf the Spring Village Road:-
Now IT Is HEREBY DECLARED by His Excellency the Governor acting by and in
accordance with the advice of the Executive Council of the Colony of Saint Vincent
that upon the Second Publication of this Notice in the Gazette all that parcel of
land adjacent to the Spring Village Road in the Parish of St. Patrick, reputed to be
the property of the Heirs of Samuel Stephen, and measuring 3072 square feet,
shall vest absolutely in the Crown:

THE 6tRG WN TOWN BOARD (TRADERS' RATES)
(AMENDMENT) BY-LAWS.


(Gazetted 1st July, 1958.)


1. Short title. These By-Laws may be cited as the Georgetown Town
Board (Traders' Rates) (Amendment) By-Laws, 1958, and shall be read as one
with the Georgetown Town Board (Traders' Rates) By-Laws (S.R. & 0. 1951,
No. 93) (hereinafter referred to as the principal By-Laws) and all amendments
thereto.

2. Third Schedule to principal By-Laws amended. The Third
Schedule to the principal By-Laws is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof
the following:--
"Dealers in Dry goods, Hardware, Liquor, Medicine, Provision,
also retail and wholesale dealers ...... ...... $24.00
, Dry goods, Hardware, Liquor, Provision, Medicine

RROUALLIE TOWN BOARD (MARKET)
(AMENDMENT) BY-LAWS.


(Gazetted 1st July, 1958.)


1. Short title. These By-Laws may be cited as the Barrouallie Town
Board (Market) (Amendment) By-Laws, 1958, and shall be read as one with the
Barrouallie Town Board (Market) By-Laws, 1954 (S.R. & 0. 1954, No. 21) (herein-
after referred to as the principal By-Laws) and all amendments thereto.

2. By-Law 11 of principal By-Laws Cancelled and Replaced.
By-Law 11 of the principal By-Laws is hereby cancelled and replaced as follows:-
"11. Fish to be weighed or otherwise assessed.
(1) All catches of fish, save blackfish, porpoises and whales, before being
offered for sale shall be brought to the fish shed for the purpose of ascertain-
ing the dues payable thereon in accordance with the Third Schedule to these
By-Laws, which dues shall be paid to the Clerk or other officer authorised
by the Board to receive the same.
(2) The dues payable on catches of blackfish, porpoises and whales
shall be assessed on the beach and not elsewhere, and shall be in accordance
with the Third Schedule to these By-Laws and payable to the Clerk or other
officer authorised by the Board to receive the same."

3. By-Law 12 of principal By-Laws Cancelled and Replaced.
By-Law 12 of the principal By-Laws is hereby cancelled and replaced as follows:-
"12. Sale of fish. All such fish save blackfish, porpoises and whales
shall be sold on counters provided in the fish shed for that purpose."

4. Third Schedule to principal By-Laws Cancelled and
Replaced. The Third Schedule to the principal By-Laws is hereby canceled
and replaced as follows:-
"THIRD SCHEDULE (By-Law 11).
(a) All fresh and salted fish save blackfish, porpoises and whales: 6% of
the value of the fish as estimated by the Clerk or other authorised officer
