AND WHEREAS it is considered by the Governor in Council that the under-
mentioned parcel of land should be acquired for a public purpose, to wit
the erection of living quarters for a Caretaker-Watchman in the employ of the
Public Works Department of the Colony.
Now IT Is HEREBY DECLARED by His Excellency the Governor acting by
and in accordance with the advice of the Executive Council of the Colony of
Saint Vincent that upon the Second Publication of this Notice in the Gazette,
the parcel of land at Vermont in the Parish of Saint Andrew, presently in the
possession of Claydon Moses, and more particularly described in the Schedule
hereto, shall vest absolutely in the Crown.
AND IT IS HEREBY FURTHER DECLARED AND NOTIFIED that a plan bearing
the number A1/103 has been prepared by Leonard W. Sandy, Licensed Land
Surveyor, and approved by Horace R. Wason, Crown Surveyor and can be
inspected at all reasonable hours at the Lands and Surveys Office at Kingstown
in the said Colony.
SCHEDULE.
All that portion or parcel of land situate in the Parish of Saint Andrew
bounded on the North-East by lands of the Heirs of John Alladyce, on the
South by lands of the Heirs of John Alladyce, on the East by lands of the Heirs
of John Alladyce and on the West by lands of the Heirs of Josephus Gumbs
and measuring 1 acre, 1 rood and 14 perches.

The Administrator has learnt with
very deep regret of the death on 28th
May, 1958, of Mr. ALPHAEUS CALEB
ALLEN.
Mr. ALLEN rendered public service
to this community as an Elected
Member of the Legislature. The
Community of St. Vincent suffers a
deep sense of loss in his passing.

QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY PARADE, 1958.

The following is the official Pro-
gramme relating to the ceremonial for
Her Majesty the Queen's Birthday
Parade to take place at the Victoria
Park, Kingstown, on Thursday, 12th
June, 1958:
8.15 a.m.: Parade consisting of the

semble at Hillsboro Street and
march to Victoria Park.
St. Vincent Police Force with Band.
Auxiliary Police.
Fire Brigade Section of Auxiliary
Police.
Grammar School Cadet Corps.
Boy Scouts.
Girl Guides.
British Red Cross.
Members of the St. Vincent
Legion of the British Empire
Service League will be present
at Victoria Park and will stand
to the right of Saluting Base.


9.00 a.m.:
(1) His Honour the Administra-
tor will arrive.
(2) His Honour, accompanied by
the Acting Chief of Police, will
inspect the Parade.
(3) His Honour will take the
Salute at the March Past of
the Parade.
(4) The Royal Standard, symbolis-
ing the presence of Her Majes-
ty the Queen, will be raised,
and a Royal Salute given.
(5) Feu-de-Joie.
(6) Royal Salute. Royal Standard
is lowered.
(7) Three cheers for Her Majesty
the Queen led by His Honour.
(8) His Honour returns to Salut-
ing Base and the Administra-
tor's Union Flag is raised.
(9) Announcements.
(10) His Honour Departs.
Members of Executive and Legisla-
tive Councils, Members of the Kings-
town Board, Small Town Boards, Vil-
lage Councils, Ministers of Religious
Denominations and all public officers
and their wives are invited to be pre-

into the scale will be determined
according to the candidate's qualifi-
cation and experience.
PASSAGES:
Free passages for person selected,
his wife and not more than three
children under the age of eighteen
years will be provided. Vacation
leave and leave passage grant are
earned in accordance with General
Orders.
