VISIT GF GOVERNOR TO TRINIDAD.

His Excellency Mr. C. M. Deverell, C.M.G., C.V.O., O.B.E.,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Windward Islands,
left Grenada for Trinidad, for an official visit from 30th March
to 3rd April, 1956.
During His Excellency's absence from Grenada Mr. Louis
Cocls-Lartigue, O.B.E., Chief Secretary, Windward Islands, will
be Governor's Deputy.

STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS,

1956, No. 14.


PUBLIC PROCESSIONS (PROHIBITION) ORDER.


(Gazetted 31st March, 1956.)


1. Short title. This Order may be cited as the Public Processions (Prohi-
bition) Order, 1956.

2. Prohibition. The holding of public processions with the exception of
funeral processions within the District of the Parish of Charlotte is hereby pro-
hibited for a period of one month from the date of commencement of this Order.

Made by the Governor under Section 5 (2) of the Public Order Ordinance,
1951 (No. 27 of 1951), this 26th day of March, 1956.
