PREFACE

The Bureau of Immigration of the Florida Department
of Agriculture presents this compilation of the last agri-
cultural census of the Federal government for the State of
Florida, because it supplies information covering certain
phases of agriculture which is in great demand. The only
information added to the subject-matter contained in this
report is the total acreage in each county.
This report does not attempt to supply information on
every phase of agriculture in Florida.. Those who, after
reading it, desire further information may obtain it by
addressing this department.
It is the desire of this department to furnish all in-
quirers with information that is as definite and reliable
as we are able to obtain. In order to make this report
timely and of the most value we are issuing it from the
government's preliminary announcements giving figures
for the various counties in Florida.
