aAlachua a fabulous new variety for fresh eating; uniform ripening;
mechanically harvestable with little damage.
bCarlos lacks high level resistance to Pierce's disease; vines die in central
Florida when PD pressure high. Seems to do better in north and west Florida.
CFemale varieties require a self-fertile variety nearby for good fruit set (25
ft or less). Self-fertile varieties bear fruit well without a different
variety nearby.
