Notice.



It is notified for general information that the Governor has, with
the advice of the Federal Executive Council, declared Monday the
25th and Tuesday the 26th days of January, 1954, to be Bank Holi-
days in Antigua on the occasion of the visit to that Presidency of
the M.C..C. Team.

BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE LEEWARD ISLANDS.

A PROCLAMATION.

Governor's Deputy.

I, considering that it is desirable that Monday the 25th and
Tuesday the 26th days of January, 1954, should be observed as
Bank Holidays in the Presidency of Antigua in the Colony of the
Leeward Islands, and in pursuance of the provisions of the Bank
Holidays Act (Cap. II ) do hereby, by and with the advice of the
Executive Council of the said Colony, and in exercise of the powers
conferred by the Act aforesaid, appoint Monday the 25th and Tues-
day the 26th days of January, 1954, as special days to be reserved as
Bank Holidays in the said Presidency, under and in accordance with
the said Act, and I do by this my Proclamation command the said
days to be so reserved and kept, and all Her Majesty's loving sub-
jects in the said Presidency to order themselves accordingly.

GIVEN under my hand at the governmentt House, Antigua,
this 15th day of January, 1954, and in the Second year
of Her Majesty's reign.
