ty vested in him by subsection (1) of
section 45 of the Defence Force Ordi-
nance 1910 and of every other power
thereunto him enabling the Governor
directs and authorises that all items of
web equipment previously issued to
personnel of the disbanded Antigua
Defence Force be produced, exhibited
and delivered on or before the 15th
day of October, 1952, to Station
Sergeant TONGE at Police Head-
quarters.

Justice under Section 16 of the Wind-
ward Islands and Leeward Islands
(Courts) Order in Council, 1939, and
duly approved as therein provided on
the 16th day of October A.D. 1941,
the Honourable the Chief Justice
selected for the sitting of the Court


in the Antigna Circuit has appointed
the day of the month on which the
ensuing Circuit Court shall sit as

Sale of Goods in Queen's Ware
house under the Provisions
of the Trade and Revenue
Ordinance, No. 8 of 1900.
All goods which, at the 31st July,
1952, had been over three months in
the Queen's Warehouse, will be sold
by public auction on Thursday, 2nd
October, 1952, at 1.15 p.m., provided
such goods have not been duty paid
and cleared from the Warehouse be-
fore the time of sale.
The list of goods liable for sale
under the terms of this notice will be
published by copies thereof being
exposed on the notice-stand at the
Court House, St. John's, and on the
main doors of the Treasury and
Queen's Warehouse.

TEE PUBLIC POUNDS (COOLIDGE FIELD) ORDER, 1952, DATED
SEPTEMBER, 16, 1952, MADE BY THE GOVERNOR IN
COUNCIL UNDER SECTION 3 (2) OF THE CATTLE TRES-
PASS ORDINANCE, 1910 (No. 10 OF 1910), AS AMENDED.


WHEREAS it is provided by section 3 (2) of the Cattle
Trespass Ordinance, 1910, as amended, that the Governor may
by Order in Council create new -public pounds or abolish any
existing public pound:
AND WHEREAS it is expedient that a public pound
should be created at Coolidge Field in the Parish of Saint
George;
NOW THEREFORE the Governor in Council doth here-
by order as follows:-
1. Citation. This Order may be cited as the Public
Pounds (Coolidge Field) Order, 1952.

2. Creation of new Public Pound. A public
pound shall be created at Coolidge Field in the Parish of Saint
George on lands in occupation of the Crown measuring 50 feet
by 50 feet located approximately 150 feet north of West Indies
Avenue (opposite to the Police Station) and enclosed by a wired
fence approximately 10 feet in height.

Made by the Governor in Council this 16th day of
September, 1952.

THE IMPORTATION OF ANIMALS (ALBERTA, SASKATCHEWAN
AND MANITOBA (REVOCATION) REGULATIONS, 1952, DATED
SEPTEMBER 16, 1952, MADE BY THE GOVERNOR IN COUN-
CIL UNDER SECTION 19 OF THE DISEASES OF ANIMALS
ORDINANCE, 1913 (No. 16 OF 1913).

1. Citation. These Regulations may be cited as the
Importation of Animals (Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba)
(Revocation) Regulations, 1952.
2. Revocation. The Importation of Animals (Alberta,
Saskatchewan and Manitoba) Regulations, 1952 (8. R. & 0.
1952, No. 18) are hereby revoked.
Made by the Governor in Council this 16th day of
September, 1952.

DEFENCE FINANCE.

The Importation and Exportation of Notes (Exemption)
Order, 1952, dated September 23, 1952, made by the
Governor under regulations 6 and 8 of the Defence
(Finance) Regulations, 1942, as having effect by virtue
of the Supplies and Services (Transitional Powers)
Act, 1945, (Imperial) the Supplies and Services (Tran-
sitional Powers) (Colonies etc.) Order in Council, 1946.
(Imperial) the Supplies and Services (Transitional
Powers) Order, 1946, and the Supplies and Services
(Continuance) Order, 1951 (Imperial).

1. Citation This Order may be cited as the
Importation and Exportation of Notes (Exemption) Order,
1952.
2. Exemption. (1) There shall be exempted from
the provisions of paragraph (1) of regulation 6 of the
Defence (Finance) Regulations, 1942, the bringing into any
Presidency of the Colony by any person travelling to that
Presidency in any ship or aircraft, from some place outside
the Colony, bank notes legally issued in the Colony and
notes which are legal tender in the Colony to the amount
of ten pounds and bank notes which are legal tender in the
United Kingdom or in any part thereof to an amount not
exceeding ten pounds sterling in value.
(2) There shall be exempted from the provisions of
paragraph (1) of regulation 8 of the Defence (Finance)
Regulations, 1942, the taking out of any Presidency of the
Colony by any person travelling to some place outside the
Colony, bank notes legally issued in the Colony and notes
which are legal tender in the Colony to the amount of ten
pounds and bank notes which are legal tender in the United
Kingdom or in any part thereof to an amount not exceeding
ten pounds sterling in value, and in addition thereto foreign
currency not exceeding ten pounds sterling .in value:
Provided that, if and so long as there is in force a certi-
ficate granted under paragraph (2) of regulation 8 author-
( rising that person to take bank notes or foreign currency out

of the Colony, he shall not be entitled to any exemption
under this sub-paragraph.

3. Non-Application. The exemptions granted
under paragraph 2 of this Order shall not apply to-
(a) a person employed or engaged in any capacity
on board any ship or aircraft arriving in or departing
from ,he Colony; or
(b) any person described in, the Schedule to this
Order when travelling on official duty.

4. Rescission. The Importation and Exportation
of Notes (Exemption) Order, 1947 (S.R. & 0. 1947 No. 6)
and all amendments thereto are hereby rescinded.

mentioned, that is to say:-
(a) Member of Queen Alexandra's Royal Naval Nursing Ser-
vice or any reserve thereof.
(b) Member of the Women's -Royal Naval Service.
(c) Woman medical or dental practitioner serving in the Royal
Navy or any naval reserve.
(d) Member of Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing
Service or any reserve thereof.
(e) Member of the Territorial Army Nursing Service or any
reserve thereof.
(.) Member of the Auxiliary Territorial Service.
(g) Woman employed with the Royal Army Medical Corps or
the Army Dental Corps with relative rank as an officer.
(h) Member of Princess Mary's Royal Air Force Nursing
Service or any reserve thereof.
(i) Member of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force.
(j) Woman employed with the Medical Branch or the Dental
SBranch of the Royal At, Force with relative rank as an officer.
(k) Member of the Voluntary Aid Detachments employed
under the Admiralty Army Council or Air Council.
