BY THE GOVERNOR'S DEPUTY OF THE
LEEWARD ISLANDS.

A PROCLAMATION.
P. D. MACDONALD,
Governor's Deputy.
WHEREAS by sub-section (1) of section 14 of the
Currency Act, 1950 (No. 4/1950) it is provided that the
said Act. in so far as it relates to currency notes, shall
come into operation on such date as the Governor shall
by Proclamation published in the Gazette appoint.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PATRICK DONALD MACDONALD,
Governor's Deputy of the Leeward Islands do by this my
Proclamation appoint that the said Act, in so far as it relates
to currency notes, shall come into operation on the 1st day
of August, 1951.
AND all His Majesty's loving subjects in the said
Colony and all others whom it may concern are hereby
required to take due notice hereof and to give their ready
obedience accordingly.


GIVEN at the Government
30th day of July, 1951,
of His Majesty's reign.
