REPOSSESSION OF ALIENATED CROWN LANDS

Ix the Supreme Court of the Windward Islands and Leeward
Islands Dominica Circuit.
IN the Matter of the Forest, Soil and Water Conservation
Ordinance, 1946.

IN the Matter of the Title to the Stonehill I-state situate in the
Parish of St, Joseph in the Colony of Dominica,
EIZAR'ETH II. fPy the (race of God of Great Britain, Ireland, and the British
Dominions beyond the Seas Queen, Defender of the Faith.
To all persons claiming an interest in the landsand tenements hereinafter described.
WHEREAS it has been made to appear to Us that the Stonehill Estate situate
in the Parish of St. Joseph in the Island of Dominica, containing 200 acres I rood is
unoccupied since 1914, and there is no person having title thereto, whereby the
said parcel of land ought to be vested in Us, that proceedings will be taken to
have the said parcel of land vested in Us at a sitting of the Supreme Court to be
holden at Roseau in the Colony of Dominica in the month 1f Apr:,l 1953.
All persons claiming an interest in such land, shall within one week from the
date of the last publication of this summons in the Gazette (such summons shall be
published during a period of six months) file an appearance, either in person, or by
Solicitor in the office of the Registrar, and shall, within one month from the date of
such appearance, lodge in the said office a written claim containing a statement
of the reasons on which the same is founded: and you are hereby further warned
that if you fail to appear at the said Court to be holden as aforesaid the said pro-
ceedings will be heard and taken with ut you.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, We have caused the Seal of Our said Court to be
hereunto affixed, at Roseau, this 12th day of July, 1952.

NOTICE.
The above are the persons who it is proposed should be inserted in the Jurors Rgister for the
year 1953.
The list will be revised at the Sitting of the Magistrate's Court to be holden at Roseau on Monday.
the'5th. day of January, 1953, at Ul o'clock, and the Magistrate may then make such changes therein
as he may think fit, either by adding or striking out names, or otherwise. Any person, whether includ-
ed or not included in the said list, may then appear personally, or by his Counsel or Solicitor, and claim
that he is, or is not, liable to serve as a Common or Special Juror, as the case may be, or if unable to
attend personally, may give the Magistrate notice in writing of his claim, supporting it by such evidence
as he may think fit, and the Magistrate will then, as far as he reasonably can, inquire into the claim.
The Magistrate's decision in revising the said list will be conclusive, and all persons included in the said
list, after it has been revised by the Magistrate, will be liable during the year 1953 to be summoned and
serve as Commen or Special Jurors, as the case may be notwithstanding any disqualification or exemp-
tion other than illness or unavoidable accident.

STATUTORY RULES & ORDERS NO. 38 OF 1952.
REGULATIONS MADE BY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL
UNDER SECTION 12 OF THE ANIMALS DISEASES
ORDINANCE 1952, (No. 15 OF 1952).
(Gazetted 17th December, 1952.)
1. These Regulations may be cited as the
IMPORTATION OF ANIMALS, BIRDS, POUL-
TRY, REPTILES AND INSECTS (PROHiBI ION St Title
REGULATIONS, 1952.
2. The importation of all animals, birds, poultry, Prohibition
reptiles and insects, their products and all things con-
nected therewith from any of the territories mentioned
in the Schedule hereto is absolutely prohibited.
Made by the Governor in Council this 15th day of
December, 1952.
