NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that allper-
sons having any debts or claims upon or af-
fecting the estate of Helen Bruce Mitchell,
late of Worthing View, Christ Church in this
Island, who died in this Island on the 23rd day
of August, 1964, arehereby requested to send
in particulars of their claims duly attested to
the undersigned C/o Cottle, Catford & Co.,
of No. 17, High Street, Bridgetown, on or be-
fore the 15th day of September, 1966, after
which date I shall proceed to distribute the
assets among the parties entitled thereto hav-
ing regard to the debts and claims of which I
shall then have had notice, and I shall not be
liable for the assets so distributed to any
person of which debt or claim I shall not have
had notice at the time of such distribution, and
allpersons indebted to the saidestate are re-
quested to settle their accounts without delay.

GOVERNMENT NOTICE



PRICE OF FANCY MOLASSES, RATE OF TAX AND RATE
OF LEVY, 1966


The Cabinet on the advice of the Fancy Molasses Control and Mar-
keting Board and in accordance with Regulation 5 of the Barbados
Fancy Molasses Production and Export Regulations 1938 as amended
has fixed the following rates in respect of fancy molasses for the crop
year, 1966:

(i) the rate payable to the producers of fancy molasses
during the crop year 1966 shall be not less than sixty-
eight and three-quarters cents (68 3/4) a wine gallon.

(ii) the rate of tax payable to the Fancy Molasses Control
and Marketing Board shall be nought point nought five
(0.05) of one cent a wine gallon.

2. Under the authority of Section 5 of the Barbados Fancy Molasses
Production and Export (Amendment)Act, 1953 the Fancy Molasses Con-
trol and Marketing Board with approval of the Cabinet has fixed the rate
of levy to be raised on all fancy molasses produced in this Island during
the crop year 1966 at nought point nought five (0.05) of one cent a wine
gallon.

THE INDUSTRIAL INCENTIVES ACT, 1963

(Section 6)

NOTICE

The Honourable Premier and Minister
of Finance pursuant to section 6 of the Indus-
trial Incentives Act, 1963, hereby gives
notice that the Cabinet is about to be asked
to consider whether for the purposes of the f
abovementioned Act, a company to be regis-
tered as Cedar Hats Ltd. should be declared


as an approved enterprise in respect of Head-
gear to wit. Berets at a factory to be situated
at Tudor Street.

Any person interested in the manufacture
or importation of the products in question who
objects to the proposed Company being de-
clared an approved enterprise for the pur-
poses of the Industrial Incentives Act, 1963,
should forward to the Director, Economic
Planning Unit, Office of the Premier, to
reach him not later than Saturday, 23rd Jply,
1966 a statement in writing setting forth the
grounds of his objections.

THE LAND ACQUISITION ACT, 1949


(Notice under Section 3)


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it ap-

pears to the Crown in right of its Government

of this island that the parcel of land, together

with the buildings and hereditaments thereon,

described in the Schedule hereto and situate
at Coleridge Street in the parish of Saint Mi-
chael and Island of Barbados is likely to be

needed for purposes which in the opinion of

the Crown in right of its Government of this

Island are public purposes: namely for the
extension of the Public Library, and for ac-
commodation for Government offices.


Schedule

ALL THAT certain piece or parcel of

land situate at Coleridge Street in the parish

of Saint Michael and Island of Barbados con-
taining by admeasurement 1,173 square feet
or thereabouts abutting and bounding onlands
of the Crown in right of its Government of this

Island on lands of A. E. Taylor Ltd. and on

Coleridge Street or however else the same

may abut and bound together with the build-

ings and hereditaments thereon.

Dated this 17th day of June one thousand

nine hundred and sixty six at Government
