sons having any debt or claim upon or affect-
ing the estate of Edward Bertram Smith, late
of "Glenham", 9th Avenue, Belleville in the
parish of Saint Michael in this Island, who
died in this Island on the 6th day of July, 1965
are hereby requested to send in particulars
of their claim duly attested to the undersigned
c/o Cottle Catford & Co., No. 17 High Street,
Bridgetown, Barbados on or before the 15th
day of June, 1966 after which date we shall
proceed to distribute the assets among the
parties entitled thereto having regard to the
debts and claims of which we shall then have
had notice, and that we shall not be liable for
the assets so distributed to any person of
whose debt or claim we shall not have had
notice at the time of such distributjpn and all
persons indebted to the said estate are re-
quested to settle their accounts without delay.

The Honourable Premier and Minister of
Finance pursuant to Section 6of the Industrial
Incentives Act, 1963, hereby gives notice that
the Cabinet is about to be asked to consider
whether for the purposes of the abovemen-
tioned Act, Cardboard and Paper board car-
tons not corrugated should be approved pro-
ducts.

Anyperson interested in the manufacture
or importation of Cardboard and Paper board
cartons not corrugated who objects to these
products being declared approved products for
the purposes of the Industrial Incr ntives Act,
1963, should forward to the Director, Econo-
mic Planning Unit, Office of the Premier, to
reach him on or before 14th June, 1966, a
statementinwriting setting forth the grounds
of his objections.

GOVERNMENT NOTICE


Public Assistance Board


Pursuant to the provisions of subsection
(1) of section 3 of the Public Assistance Act,
1954-53, Councillor E. D. Mottley, C.B.E.,
M.P., was appointed by the Council of the City
of Bridgetown to be a member of the Public
Assistance Board for a period of three years
with effect from the 16th day of June, 1965.
Subsequent tothatdate, Councillor E. D. Mot-
tley, being present in the Island, failed to at-
tend three consecutive meetings of the Public
Assistance Board; such failure not being due
to some reason approvedby the Cabinet. Con-
sequently, pursuant to subsection (3) of sec-
tion 3 of the above Act, a vacancy arose in the
membership of the Public Assistance Board
and the vacancy, pursuant to that subsection,
has been filled by the Council of the City of
Bridgetown by the appointment by that Council
of Councillor E. D. Mottley to be a member
of the Public Assistance Board from the 14th
day of April, 1966 for the remainder of the
said period of three years.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat all per-
sons having any debt or claim against the
Estate of Bryan Northam Gibbs, late of
No. 37 Albert Court, Kensington Gore in the
County of London, England, who died at Cas-
aurina, Sandy Lane in the parish of Saint
James in this Island on the 23rd day of Janu-
ary 1965, are hereby requested to send par-
ticulars of their claims duly attested to the
undersigned, in care of Messrs. Cottle,
Catford & Co., No. 17, High Street, Bridge-
town, on or before the 5th day of August, 1966,


after which date we shall proceed to distribute
the assets of the estate among the parties
entitled thereto having regard to the debts and
claims only of which we shall then have had
notice; and that we shall not be liable for
assets to distributed to any person of whose
debt or claim we shall not have had notice at
the time of such distribution.
