THE ACQUISITION OF LAND ACT
(Chapter 254)
WHEREAS by Notice No. 147 dated the 15th June, 1963, and
published in the Official Gazette dated the 15th June, 1963, the
Governor in Council on behalf of the Promoters, The Public Board
of Works for Roses, Long Island, declared that it was his inten-
tion to acquire the land described in the Schedule hereto
AND WHEREAS His Excellency the Governor is of the
opinion that it is necessary that possession of the selected land be
obtained by the Promoters before payment is made to the right-
ful claimants of the property described in the Schedule hereto
NOW THEREFORE it is hereby notified that the selected
land has been appropriated by the Promoters for the purpose
mentioned in the said notice with effect from the date of this
notice.
