THE ACQUISITION OF LAND ACT
(Chapter 254)
WHEREAS it appears to His Excellency the Governor in
Council that the land described in'the Schedule hereto is required
for a public purpose

NOW THEREFORE it is hereby notified that it is the inten-
tion of His Excellency the Governor in Council on 'behalf of the
Promoters, The Public Board of Works for Roses, Long Island, to
acquire the said land for a public purpose to wit: for the purpose
of erecting thereon a Commissioner's office and nurse's clinic at
Roses, Long Island

ALL persons interested in the said land shall within 30 days
of the publication of this notice state in writing to the Colonial
Secretary of the Colony the nature of their respective interests
in the said land and the amount and particulars of their claim to
compensation for such interests.
