Made Under
THE POST OFFICE ACT
(Chapter 250)
In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Governor in
Council by section 45 of the Post Office Act, the Governor in
Council hereby makes the following Rules:

1. These Rules may be cited as the Post Office Amendment
(No. 2) Rules 1963 and shall be read as one with the Post Office
Rules 1948 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal Rules").

2. Paragraph (f) of rule 44 of the principal Rules is hereby
revoked and the following substituted therefore:
"(f) If the annual rental and penalty of 1. 0. 0 are not
paid by the said 31st day of March the right of the
holder to use the box shall be subject to termination
and the Postmaster shall close the box but the Post-
master shall not assign such box to any other person
until after the expiration of 15 days from the said 31st
dav of March: Provided that if the annual rental and
penalty of 5. 0. 0 are paid during the said 15 days the
holder of such box may be allowed to retain the use of
the same."
