NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Port Authority for the Island of New Pro-
vidence will be held at the Port Office on Thursday 20th day of December, 1962 at 3:00 p.m.
for the purpose of granting licences under the above Act.
Any person entitled and wishing to object to any application should do so at least Six days

TOWN PLANNING ACT, 1959
1. The public is hereby notified that the Town Planning Com-
mittee has under consideration a proposal to recommend to
the Governor-in-Council under Section 4 (1) of the Town
Planning Act, 1959, that new buildings and the change of use
of land shall be permitted only for the purposes of
(1) Animal Husbandry and Poultry Farms
and other uses agreeable thereto.
(2) Low Cost Housing and other uses agree-
able thereto.
Such area for animal husbandry and poultry farms referred
to above is shown on the attached plan and marked "D" and
described in the Second Schedule. Such areas for low cost
housing referred to above and shown on the attached plan
and marked "A", "B" and "C" and described in the Second
Schedule.
2. Persons wishing to object to the proposed restrictions are
invited to submit .their objections in writing to the Town
Planning Officer, P. O. Box 156, Nassau, on or before 31st
December, 1962. Objections not received on or before the
said date will not be considered;
3. The Town Planning Committee will fix a date for hearing
objections submitted within the specified time in the last
preceding paragraph and the objectors will be notified
of such date. Every such objector shall be entitled to be
heard in person or by counsel.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Governor in
Council by section 4 of the Pensions Act (Ch. 365) the following
Order is hereby made:
1. This Order may be cited as the Emma Knowles Jackson
Pension Order 1962.
2. A reduced pension at the rate of Five Hundred and
Nineteen Pounds Sixteen Shillings (519. 16. 0.) per annum as
from the 26th of November, 1962 together with a gratuity in the
amount of One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty-two Pounds
Fourteen Shillings and Two Pence (1732. 14. 2.) are hereby
granted to Emma Knowles Jackson.
