NOTICE OF POSSESSION
Given Under
THE ACQUISITION OF LAND ACT
(Chapter 254)
WHEREAS by Notice No. 236 dated the 20th October, 1962
and published in the Official Gazette dated the 20th October,
1962, the Governor in Council declared that it was his intention
on behalf of the Promoters The Public Board of Works for Marsh
Harbour, Abaco to acquire the land described in the Schedule
hereto
AND WHEREAS His Excellency the Governor is of the
opinion that it is necessary that possession of the selected land
should be. obtained by the Promoters before payment is made
to rightful claimants to the property described in the Schedule
hereto
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby notified that the selected
land has been appropriated by the Promoters mentioned in the
said notice with effect from the date of this notice.
