sition of Land Act, Chapter 254, is published for general informa-
tion.

NOTICE OF INTENTION
Given Under
THE ACQUISITION OF LAND ACT
(Ch. 254)
WHEREAS it appears to His Excellency the Governor in
Council that the land described in the Schedule hereto is required
for a public purpose
NOW THEREFORE it is hereby notified that it is the in-
tention of His Excellency the Governor in Council on behalf of
the Promoters, The Airports Board, to acquire the said land for
a public purpose to wit: for the purpose of constructing an Air-
strip at Long Island.
ALL persons interested in the said land shall within 30 days
of the publication of this notice state in writing to the Colonial
Secretary of the Colony the nature of their respective interests
in the said land and the amount and particulars of their claim to
compensation for such interests.

WHEREAS it appears to His Excellency the Governor in
Council that the land described in the Schedule hereto is required
for a public purpose
NOW THEREFORE it is hereby notified that it is the in-
tention of His Excellency the Governor in Council on behalf of
the Promoters, the Public Board of Works for Governor's Har-
bour, Eleuthera to acquire the said land for a public purpose to
wit: for the purpose of providing a Community Playground at
Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera.
ALL persons interested in the said land shall within 30 days

in a direction of 520 18' west of true north for a distance of One
hundred and Forty-six and Eighty-six hundredths (146.86) feet
and being bounded thereon by land said to be the property of
The Bahamas Government, thence in a direction of 24 13' west
of true south for a distance of Three hundred and Eighty-one and

on by a road reservation 20 feet wide separating it from land
said to be the property of W. B. Johnson thence in a direction
of 24 13' west of true south for a distance of One hundred and
Fifty and Sixteen hundredths (150.16) feet and being bounded
thereon by land said to be the property of The Bahamas Govern.
ment, thence in a direction of 69 39' east of true south for a

Council by section 3(4) of the Industries Encouragement Act the

1. This Order may be cited as the Industries Encourage-
ment (No. 2) Order 1962.
2. A factory in the name of Erich Albert Huber is hereby
registered under the Industries Encouragement Act to manu-
facture sausages and like products of all kinds, subject to the
conditions and restrictions set out below.

Conditions and Restrictions

Registration is approved for a period of one year, at the
expiration of which Erich Albert Huber will be required to show
that export trade has been established.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
Made Under
THE TARIFF ACT 1959
In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Governor in
Council by section 9(1) of The Tariff Act 1959 the following
Order is hereby made:
1. This Order may be cited as The Increases of Customs
Duties (No. 2) Order 1962.
2. The duties of customs on Rock Cornish game hen and
on case lots of the same parts (e.g. all legs, all thighs, all wings
etc.) of dressed chicken shall be as set out in the Maximum A
column of Part I of the Second Schedule to the Tariff Act.
3. The duties of customs on the under-mentioned articles
shall be as set out in the Maximum B column of Part I of the
Second Schedule to the Tariff Act:
(a) Under paragraph 31:
Chicken: cocks and hens.
(b) Under paragraph 32:
All dressed chicken except case lots of the same
parts (e.g. all legs, all thighs, all wings etc.) of such
chicken.
(c) Under paragraph 33:
Poultry eggs.









(d) Under paragraph 37:
Tomato juice, tomato paste, tomato puree, solid
pack (whole canned) tomatoes.
(e) Under paragraph 39:
Canned pigeon peas.
4. The remaining provisions of the Increases of Customs
Duties Order 1962 are hereby revoked.
