His Excellency the Acting Governor has approved the follow-
ing appointments:-
Mr. C. K. Knowles, Assistant Secretary, to be Acting First Assist-
ant Secretary with effect from the 20th August, 1962. -

Mr. Asa Symonette, Electrician Grade I, Civil Aviation Depart-
ment, to be Acting Maintenance Superintendent in con-
junction with the duties of his own office with effect
from the 13th August, 1962. M.P. P.485.
The Very Rev. J. E. Ellis, to be Temporary Chairman of the
Prison Visiting Committee during the absence from the
Colony of the Chairman, Mr. Mervyn Johnson, with

Notice is hereby given that an application for registration
under The Industries Encouragement Act 1951 has been received
from Mr. Erich Albert Huber who intends to manufacture
sausages and like products of all kinds. The raw materials to be
used in the manufacture of the said sausages are meat, flour, salt,
spices and monosodium glutamate. It is proposed to establish
this factory in Building No. 116 situate on Lot 20, Block 6 of the
Oakes Field Subdivision.
2. Any person objecting to the registration of such factory
should give notice in writing of his objection and of the grounds
of such objection to the Colonial Secretary before the 15thi Sep-
tember, 1962.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Governor in
Council by Section 7 of the Industrial Schools Act 1960 the follow-
ing Order is hereby made:
1. This Order may be cited as the Simpson Calfred Penn
Pension Order 1962.
