(Ch. 254)
WHEREAS it appears to His Excellency the Governor in
Council that the land described in the Schedule hereto is re-
quired for a public purpose
NOW THEREFORE it is hereby notified that it is the in-
tention of His Excellency the Governor in Council on behalf of
the Promoters, the Telecommunications Board, to acquire the
said land for a public purpose to wit: for the purpose of con-
structing a telephone exchange building thereon
ALL persons interested in the said land shall within 30 days
of the publication of this notice state in writing to the Colonial
Secretary of the Colony the nature of their respective interests
in the said land and the amount and particulars of their claim
to compensation for such interests.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1958
In exercise of the powers conferred upon them by the Road
Traffic Act 1958 the Road Traffic Authority with the approval of
the Governor in Council hereby make the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as The Motor Vehicles
(Driving Licences) Amendment Regulations 1962 and shall be
read as one with the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regula-
tions 1962 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Regulations).

2. Regulation 11 of the principal Regulations is hereby
amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new para-
graph numbered (4):
"(4) If any person to whom a provisional licence is
granted under the Act and these Regulations fails
to comply with any of the conditions subject to

conviction to a penalty not exceeding twenty-five
poundss"

In exercise of the powers vested in him by Article 62 of the
Colonial Air Navigation Order 1961, the Governor hereby makes
the following Regulations:-
1. These Hcegulations may be cited as the Landing Fees
(Nassau International Airport) (No. 2) Amendment Regulations
1962.
2. Paragraph (2) of regulation :3 of the Landing Fees
(Nassau International Airport) (No. 2) Regulations 1961 is hereby
revoked and the following substituted therefore:
"(2) Privately owned aircraft of all up weight exceed-
ing 6,000 lbs. used solely for recreational purposes will
le charged landing fees at half the commercial rate
provided by regulation 2 of these Regulations.
No charge will be made against any privately owned
aircraft-
(a) in respect of any recreational flight within
a radius of 20 miles from the airport: or
(b) of all up weight not exceeding 6,000 lbs."

ing sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph 3 of regulation 46A thereof
and substituting therefore the following:
"(b) In New Providence, within the limits bounded on
the East from the Harbour to Shirley Street, by the
east side of Church Street and from Shirley Street
to Wulff Road, by the west side of Mackay
Street; on the South by the south sides of Wulff
Road and Poinciana Avenue; on the West by the
east side of Nassau Street; on the North by the
Harbour of Nassau; TWENTY MILES PER
