To avoid inconvenience and the possibility of paying full
duty on equipment and other articles imported for some tem-

poray purpose under paragraph 5 of the Fourth Schedule to the
Tariff Act, the following requirements, which will be rigidly en-
forced are published for your information:
(a) Application should be made to the Governor in Council
through this department stating full particulars, the pur-
pose for which imported and a complete list of equip-
ment with values.
(b) A written assurance with sufficient corroborating details
that the possibility of local hiring had been unsuccessful.
(c) Applicant must await the decision of the Governor in
Council before importing equipment or articles.
(d) If approval be given applicant must enter into a Bond
as required by the paragraph quoted.
2. Should equipment and articles be imported contrary to
the above requirements, the consignee will be liable for the full
amount of duty based on the C.I.F. Valuation.
3. Eleven copies are required describing the article or
equipment when applying for the importation of goods for tem-
porary purposes.

a.m. to 12.00 noon.

those whose surnames begin with the letters F M on Tuseday,
those whose surnames begin with the letters N S on Wednes-

Council by Section 2 of The Thomas Burge Neilly Pension Act
1961 the following Order is hereby made:
1. This Order may be cited as the Thomas Burge Neilly
Pension Order 1962.

2. A pension at the rate of Eighty-four Pounds Thr4e Shil-
lings and Four Pence (84. 3.'4.) per annum is hereby granted
to Thomas Burge Neilly as from the 1st day of September, 1960.
3. The pension granted by this Order shall be in addition
to and not in substitution for the pension granted under The
Thomas Burge Nelly Pension Order 1960.
