ROAD TRAFFIC AUTHORITY
At their Public Sitting held in the Magistrate's Court on
Wednesday, 28th March, 1962, the Road Traffic Authority an-
nounced that there were no vacancies for self-drive scooter
licences and only one vacancy for a self-drive car in New Provi-
dence. This one licence was subsequently granted to Bahamas
Rent-A-Car as a variation of their existing self-drive franchise.
Mr. Cecil Cooper of North Palmetto Point, Eleuthera, was
granted a variation of his self-drive franchise to the extent of
one (1) car.
The application by Crystal Bottling Company for a self-drive
franchise for five (5) cars for their enterprise at Bottom Harbour,
Eleuthera, was approved.
Michael Maura Tourist Service was granted a variation of
their tour car franchise to the extent of two (2) cars.

known as the "May Register" is now open for inspection in the
office of the Parliamentary Registrar.
