Promoters, the Agricultural and Marine Products Board, to ac-
quire the said land for a public purpose to wit: for the purpose
of developing improved pastures at Cat Island
ALL persons interested in the said land shall within 30 days
of the publication of this notice state in writing to the Colonial
Secretary of the Colony the nature of their respective interests
in the said land and the amount and particulars of their claim
to compensation for such interests.

Importation for Some Temporary Purpose Under Paragraph
5 of The Fourth Schedule to The Tariff Act
To avoid inconvenience and the possibility of paying full
duty on equipment and other articles imported for some tem-
porary purpose under paragraph 5 of the. Fourth Schedule to
the Tariff Act, ithe following requirements, which will be rigidly
enforced are published for your information:
a. Application should be made to the Governor in Council
through this department stating full particulars, the pur-
pose for which imported and a complete list of equip-
ment with values.
b. A written assurance with sufficient corroborating details
that the possibility of local hiring had been unsuccessful.
c. Applicant must await the decision of the Governor in
Council before importing equipment or articles.
d. If approval be given applicant must enter into a bond
as required by the paragraph quoted.
2. Should equipment and articles be imported contrary to
the above requirements, the consignee will be liable for the full
amount of duty based on the C.I.F. Valuation.
3. Eleven copies are required describing the article or
equipment when applying for the importation of goods for tem-
porary purposes.
