proved the grant of the Colonial Police and Fire Brigade Long
Service Medal to Sergeant C. E. Turner and Sergeant W. E. Boyd
of the Bahamas Police Force in recognition of their eighteen years
exemplary service in the Force.

DEPARTMENTAL NOTICES



OLD AGE PENSIONERS

Old Age Pensioners residing in the vicinity of the Southern
Recreation Grounds are advised that pension for the month of
April, 1960 will be paid at the British Legion Hall on Blue Hill
Road on Monday the 2nd May, Tuesday the 3rd May, Wednes-
day the 4th May and Thursday the 5th May, 1960 from 9 a.m.
to 1 p.m.
2. Pensioners residing in the vicinity of Mackey Street are
advised that pension for the month of April, 1960 will be paid
at Saint Felicitas Church on Friday the 6th May, 1960.
3. Pensioners residing in the vicinity of Sandilands are ad-
vised that their pension for the month of April, 1960 will be paid
at the Jungle Club, Fox Hill on Saturday the 7th May, 1960.
4. For payments at the British Legion Hall Pensioners whose
surnames begin with the letters A E should attend on Monday,
those whose surnames begin with the letters F M on Tuesday,
those whose surnames begin with the letters N S on Wednesday,
and those whose surnames begin with the letters T Z on Thurs-
day.

2. The Schedule to the Post Office (Postage Rates) Amend-
ment (No. 2) Order 1959 is hereby amended as follows:
(a) by deleting the symbol ) appearing after the
word "Alaska" in that part thereof headed "Air Mail
Rates" and substituting therefore the symbols and
words, "Hawaii, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Is-
lands)"; and
(b) by deleting from that part headed "Parcel Post
Rates Surface" the words, figures and symbols
"U.S.A. 1/6 per pound" and
substituting therefore the words, figures and symbols
"U.S.A. (including 3/- for 1st pound
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto and 1/6 for each
Rico and U.S. Virgin succeeding pound
Islands) or part thereof."

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs Duties (Dry
Pigeon Peas) (No. 2) Order, 1960.
2. The duties of Customs on dry pigeon peas shall be as
set out in the Maximum B column of PART I of the Second
Schedule to the Tariff Act.
3. The Customs Duties (Dry Pigeon Peas) Order, 1960 is
hereby revoked.
