Under provisions of Section 24 (1) Part III of Chapter 39 of
1959 i.e. An Act to consolidate and amend the Law relating to
the General Assembly, and to Elections for the General Assembly,
and for other purposes connected therewith, a copy of all the parts
of the register relating to the Districts in New Providence and
known as the "May Register" is now open for inspection in the
office of the Parliamentary Registrar.

PARLIAMENTARY REGISTRATION DEPARTMENT
Registration Offices in the Polling Divisions of the Eastern
and Southern Districts of New Providence will be open on Wed-
nesday next (April 13th) between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
for the purpose of issuing voter's cards and replacement of voter's
cards.
Registration Offices in the Polling Divisions of the Western
District of New Providence will be open for registration of Voters
on Wednesday April the 13th between the hours of 5 and 7 p.m.
Registration of voters for the City District and the Western
District of New Providence will continue during the usual Govern-
ment office hours in the Parliamentary Registration Office.

WILD BIRDS-CLOSE SEASON
The general public are reminded that the close season for
shooting Wild Pigeons and Wood Doves is from 1st April to 14th
September and for Rails or Marsh Hens, Partridges or Quail,
Whistling Duck or Bahama Ducks is from 1st April to 31st Au-
gust.
Any person found killing or capturing or attempting to kill
or capture any of the above mentioned wild birds during the
close season will be prosecuted under the Wild Birds Protection
Act.

LICENSING OF BICYCLES
Owners of bicycles are reminded that in the near future the
Police will be checking on bicycle licenses for the current year.
Owners are advised to have their bicycles licensed as early
as possible in order to avoid prosecution.
