Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies that Her Ma-

No. 66 of 1959 The Vaccination Amendment Act 1959.
No. 67 of 1959 The Public Service Amendment (No. 6) Act
1959.
2. His Excellency directs that Act No. 67 of 1959 shall come
into operation as on and from the 3rd September, 1959.

In connection with the registration of voters in New Provi-
dence, persons who have registered and not as yet been photo-
graphed, are again reminded that this should be attended to in
order that their voter's card can be completed.
Persons who have registered and have not received their vot-
er's card are reminded that they should call at the office where
they registered for same.
Any person who has either lost his voter's card or whose
card has been destroyed is reminded that he can obtain a re-
placement card by applying for same at the Registration Office
in his Polling Division. It should be clearly understood that no
person can be permitted to vote without presenting his voter's
card.

visions on Wednesday nights and Thursday nights between the
hours of 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. until further notice.

Parliamentary Registration Department
The recent amendment to the Elections Act passed by the
Legislature included among other matters, the defining of the
Western boundary of the Southern District of New Providence.
The Western boundary of the Southern District is West Street
continuing South from its junction with Meeting Street to its
southeastern extremity, and then by a line drawn due South to
the Sea.
In order therefore to enable qualified persons living on West
Street, or on those sections of Tyler Street, Cambridge Alley,
Meadows, Wellington, Laird, Peter, Brougham, Dunmore, Flem-
ming and John Streets that lie immediately to the East of West
Street, or on St. Barnabas Alley and certain sections of Hospital
Lane, who have not been registered, the Registration Office for
Polling Division No. 1 in the Southern District held in the Knights
of King George's Hall on Blue Hill Road, will be open for regis-
tration of voters on the nights of the 23rd, 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th
30th and 31st of March between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

TRENCHING CONTRACTS
PUBLIC BOARD OF WORKS
Tenders are invited by the Public Board of Works for the
excavation of trenches, by ditching machine as under, to be un-
dertaken throughout 1960 as pipe and supplies are received:-
(1) 24" wide trenching 3' 0" deep per lineal foot
(2) 24" wide trenching 3' 6" deep per lineal foot
(3) 24" wide trenching 4' 0" deep per lineal foot
(4) 30" wide trenching 3' 6" deep per lineal foot
(5) 30" wide trenching 4' 0" deep per lineal foot
(6) 30" wide trenching 4' 6" deep per lineal foot
Applicants shall submit their tenders in sealed envelopes
marked "Trenching" to the Clerk, Public Board of Works dur-
ing working hours.
Tenders will close at mid-day on Saturday, April 8th; the
Board reserves the right to reject any or all tenders.

contract would be considered. The duties of Coroner are also
included.
Salary: 2,040 per annum.
Salary of Coroner: 130 per annum.

Old Age Pensioners residing in the vincinity of the Southern
Recreation Grounds are advised that pension for the month of
March, 1960 will be paid at the British Legion Hall on Blue Hill
Road on Monday the 28th Marchb Tuesday the 29th March and
Wednesday the 30th March, 1960 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
2. Pensioners residing in the vicinity of Mackey Street are

at Saint Felicitas Church on Thursday the 31st March, 1960.
3. Pensioners residing in the vicinity of Sandilands are ad-
