Band will "Beat Retreat" on that portion of Bay Street, between
East and Parliament Streets.
For this purpose, Bay Street between East Street and Parlia-
ment Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 4.50 p.m., un-
til after the ceremony. During this period, that portion of Shirley
Street between East Street and Parliament Street will be open to
two-way traffic.
Parliament Street will be open to North bound traffic and
East Street between Bay Street and Shirley Street will be open to
South bound traffic.
No parking will be allowed on:-
(a) That portion of Shirley Street between East and
Parliament Streets.
(b) East Street Slip.

Three year Certificated Teacher with Specialist qualifications
in cooking and Needlework to organize the subject to "0" and
possibly advanced level. Diploma in Domestic Science an ad-
vantage.
Commercial Subjects Teacher
Qualifications:-
To organize Secretarial course to include Bookkeeping, Typing,
Shorthand and ancillary subjects. Certificated Teacher with ex-
perience in running Post School Certificate Course required.
Shorthand Teacher's Diploma an advantage.
Masters/Mistresses to specialize in either Geography, Mathe-
matics, Chemistry and Physics, Spanish or Music. Subsidiary sub-
jects should also be stated. Honours Degree and Teacher Train-
ing essential. Secondary Teaching experience to "O" level an
advantage.
Salaries scales have not yet been approved but will probably
be within the range of 1,550 1,750 for fully qualified teachers.
These Teachers are required for September or earlier.

THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT
(Chapter 13)
In exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section
29(1) of the Telecommunications Act (Ch. 13) the Telecommunica-
tions Board with the approval of the Governor in Council hereby
make the following Rules:








1. These Rules may be cited as the Telecommunications
Amendment Rules, 1960.
O.G. 1948 page 189.
2. Sub-rule (1) of Rule 27 of the Telecommunications
Rules, 1948 is hereby amended by deleting the figures "21" op-
posite the words and symbols "Time of Day Per advertising
unit Per Quarter " appearing under the sub-head "Mis-
cellaneous Services" of the heading thereof entitled "Rental
Charges" and substituting therefore the figures "27".
3. These Rules shall come into operation on the 1st day of
May, 1960.

TREASURY BILLS REGULATIONS
Made Under
THE TREASURY BILLS ACT 1959
Short Title
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Treasury Bills Regula-
tions 1960.
Preparation and form of bills
2. Treasury bills shall be in the form in Schedule I of these Reg-
ulations and shall bear the facsimile signature of the Treasurer.
They shall be printed on security paper with protective inking
and protective water mark of a size 5" x 7". The bills shall be
numbered as prescribed by the Treasurer and shall be issued in
the following denominations:

Tenders
3. When it is decided to issue Treasury bills the Treasurer shall
call for tenders to be received at the Treasury by a specific date
and hour of the day. Applications shall be made on the form in
Schedule II of these Regulations.

Minimum Tenders
4. The Governor in Council shall fix in each notice of tender a
minimum amount for which tenders shall be received.
Tenders through a Banker
5. Tenders shall only be received through a banker or Trust
Company.
Payment of amount of Tender
6. Successful tenderers shall be informed of the sum by notice
in the form in Schedule III of these Regulations not later than the
following day to that on which the tender closes and payment
in full of the amount of the accepted tender shall be made to the
Public Treasury by cash or banker's cheque not later than 3.00
p.m. (Saturday 12 noon) on the day on which the bills are to be
dated.
Date of Bills
7. Bills shall be dated from a date not earlier than two clear
business days from the date on which tenders close to a date
six days later at the option of the tenderer. Tenders shall specify
the date on which bills are required to be dated.
Term of Bills
8. The term of the bills shall be for four months or six months
from the date of issue..
Allocation of Tenders
9. Should applications for bills exceed the amount required the
most favourable tender shall be accepted in full and only a part
of those offering the next smallest discount. If the discount rates
tendered are the same then bills shall be pro-rated to the nearest
100.
Issue of Bills
10. Bills will be issued and paid at the office of the Public
Treasury. They will be issued with the payees' names blank.
Payees names may be filled in by the banks purchasing the bills.
When this is done the payees' names may be registered by the
banks with the Treasurer.
Bills payable to Bearer unless Registered
11. If bills are not endorsed with the name of the payee and
such endorsement registered with the Treasury they will be pay-
able to bearer. A registered bill shall be re-registered on transfer
to another owner.








Replacement of lost or destroyed bills
12. A registered bill shall be replaced should it be defaced, lost,
or destroyed upon proof being given to the satisfaction of the
Treasury of such loss or destruction.
Bearer Bills not replaceable
13. A bearer bill will not be replaced and payment will only be
made upon production of the bill.
Liability of Treasurer
14. Unless a transfer shall have been recorded a bill shall be
payable to bearer or to the registered payee whose name ap-
pears thereon and no responsibility shall attach to the Treasurer
if any transfer has not been registered.
Payment of Bills
15. On the due date payment will be made by the Public Treasury
upon the surrender of the bill. Payment shall be made in full
of the amount shown on the face of the bill.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon them by the Road
Traffic Act 1958 the Road Traffic Authority with the approval of
the Governor in Council hereby make the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic
Amendment Regulations 1960.
2. The Road Traffic Regulations 1959 are hereby amended
as follows:
(1) by deleting paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (4) of regula-
tion 8 thereof and substituting therefore the following:
"(a) for longer than one hour in any one parking area
in the following places:-
(i) on Bay Street between Deveaux Street and
the Navy Lion Abutment;
(ii) on the south side of King Street (City)
between George Street and Cumberland
Street;
(iii) on the south side of Marlborough Street
between Cumberland Street and Nassau
Court.
(2) by deleting item "1" of Schedule A thereof and sub-
stituting therefore the following:
