quisition of Land Act (Chapter 254) is published for general in-

THE ACQUISITION OF LAND ACT
(Chapter 254)
WHEREAS it appears to His Excellency the Governor in
Council that the land described in the Schedule hereto is required
for a public purpose
NOW THEREFORE it is hereby notified that it is the in-
tention of His Excellency the Governor in Council on behalf
of the Promoters the Local Board of Health for Sandy Point,
Abaco, to acquire the said land for a public purpose to wit: for
the purpose of constructing thereon a nurse's home and clinic.
All persons interested in the said land shall within 30 days
of the publication of this notice state in writing to the Colonial
Secretary the nature of their respective interests in the said land
and the amount and particulars of their claim to compensation
for such interests.

and Northwestwardly by a Road Reservation Twenty feet wide
separating it from Lot No. 55, which said piece parcel or lot
of land was originally granted to Lena McKinney and is recorded
in Grant Book B3 at page 150.

Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Bailiff of
the Supreme Court.
Salary will be the same as that paid to officers in Scale 10
(350x25-500 p.a.), and successful applicant will be placed in the
scale according to qualifications and experience.
The applicant should preferably have some experience of
Court work, particularly, that of serving notices, writs, sum-
monses, and other Court documents. He should also have a good
knowledge of the Island of New Providence, and be capable of
dealing with all matters relating to the duties of Bailiff in rela-
tion to the public.

The Construction of Roads in North and South Andros
Tenders are invited from Bona-fide Contractors for con-
structing the following Roads in North and South Andros.
1. Construction of Road from North Mastic Point to the
Bight District, South Mastic Point, approximate distance
three miles, six furlongs, two chains.
2. Construction of Road from Little Harbour to a point
beyond Burnt Rock, near Mangrove Cay, approximate
distance three miles, four furlongs.
Forms of agreement and specifications can be obtained at
the office of the Public Works Department during normal office
hours.
Completed tenders should be forwarded in sealed envelopes
endorsed "Construction of Roads North and South Andros", so
as to reach the Chairman Public Board of Works by noon on Sat-
urday 18th July 1959.
