GOVERNMENT NOTICES

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S OFFICE
No. 51.
It is hereby notified that an application for registration under
The Industries Encouragement Act has been received from Nas-
sau Wear, Limited for the manufacture of garments of all
descriptions, Shirts, Blouses, Shorts, Jackets, Trousers, Suits, etc.
and Industrial Clothing with the use of Cotton, Rayon, Linen,
Silk and Wool. It is proposed to establish this Factory at Sixth
Street, Centreville, New Providence.
Any person objecting to the registration of such Factory
should give notice in writing of his objection to the Colonial Sec-
retary before the 14th day of April, 1959.

No. 52.
It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor met
both Houses of the Legislature in the Council Chamber on the
morning of the 16th March, 1959, and assented to the following
Acts:-
No. 1 of 1959 An Act to grant certain duties of customs revenue
to Her Majesty the Queen for the use and support of
the Colony.
No. 2 of 1959 An Act to levy certain Emergency Taxes.
No. 3 of 1959 An Act to amend The Harbour Dues Act.
No. 4 of 1959 An Act to amend The Dog License Act.
No. 5 of 1959 An Act to extend the time when unexpended
grants of money for non-recurrent works under the
Appropriation Act 1958 shall be resumed.
No. 6 of 1959 An Act to validate certain Deeds of Assent re-
lating to land within the Colony.

Tenders are invited by the Public Board of Works for the
Lrection of a covered reinforced concrete Reservoir at Blue Hills.
Contract documents and plans may be obtained at the office
of the Public Works Department on payment of a deposit of 10
which deposit will be refunded on the return of the documents
and plans and the receipt of a bona fide tender.
Tenders for alternative designs in pre-stressed concrete will
be considered.
Tenders should be delivered in sealed envelopes endorsed
"RESERVOIR BLUE HILLS" so as to reach the Chairman, Pub-
