FINAL NOTICE
The attention of all owners of boats plying for hire is called
to the fact that licences under the Boat Registration Act and
the Supplementary Rules made under the Board of Pilotage Act
are required to be renewed annually.
The final date for these renewals is February 15th, 1959.
Boats whose licences have not been renewed by that date
must cease to operate until such renewals are effected.
The Board of Pilotage is determined that the safety precau-
tions will be rigidly enforced and owners are asked to co-operate
in order to avoid the imposition of penalties.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
Made in pursuance of an Agreement dated the 4th day of
August, 1956, Between His Excellency the Honourable Anthony
Geoffrey Hopwood Gardner-Brown, Acting Governor and Com-
mander in Chief in and over the Bahama Islands acting for and
on behalf of the Government of the .Bahama Islands of the one
part And The Grand Bahama Port Authority, Limited of the
other part, made under the authority of. The Hawksbill. Creek,
Grand Bahama (Deep Water. Harbour and Ipdustrial Area)'.Act,
X (Chapter 177 of The Statute Law of The Bahama Islands 1957).

WHEREAS under the provisions of paragraph (b) of sub-
clause (13) of clause 1 of the Agreement dated the Fourth day
of August, A.D., 1955 and recorded in the Registry of Records
of the Colony in Book 8 (New Series) at pages 447 to 479 and
made between His Excellency the Honourable Anthony Geoffrey
Hopwood Gardner-Brown, Acting Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over the Bahama Islands of the one part and The
Grand Bahama Port Authority Limited, a company incorporated
under the laws of the said Bahama Islands and carrying on busi-
ness within the Colony of the other part entered into under the
authority of The Hawksbill Creek, Grand Bahama (Deep Water
Harbour and Industrial Area) Act 1955 The Grand Bahama Port
Authority, Limited, covenanted as follows:-
To Supply the Colonial Secretary within Three years and
Six months from the date of the said Agreement with proper sur-
vey plans of:-
Fifty thousand acres of Crown land, Eighty acres of land
purchased from private owners, and such parts of Fourteen
hundred and Twenty acres of land as shall have been
purchased by the Port Authority from private owners with-
in Three years from the date of the said Agreement.
AND WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (b)
of sub-clause (13) of clause 1 of the said Agreement The Grand
Bahama Port Authority, Limited, on the 8th day of November
A.D., 1958 supplied to the Colonial Secretary with a proper sur-
vey plan of One hundred and Fourteen and Fifty-seven hun-
dredths (114.57) acres being a part of the Fourteen hundred and
Twenty (1420 acres of land purchased by the Port Authority from
private owners within Three years and Six months from the date
of the Agreement hereinbefore referred to.
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to the provisions of sub-
clause (18) of clause 2 of the said Agreement the Governor by
and with the advice of the Executive Council hereby declares
the said lands delineated on such survey plan to be a part of the
Port Area within the meaning of the said Agreement.
1. This Order shall be cited as the Hawksbill Creek, Grand
Bahama (Deep Water Harbour and Industrial Area) Port Area
Order 1959.
2. This Order shall be deemed to come into force on the
date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

ARTICLE 60 OF THE
COLONIAL AIR NAVIGATION ORDER 1955.
In exercise of the powers vested in him by Article 60 of the
Colonial Air Navigation Order 1955, the Governor hereby orders
as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Air Navigation (Customs
Airports) Amendment Order 1959.
2. The Schedule to the Air Navigation (Customs Airports)
Order 1956 is hereby amended by adding thereto the words "Air
Strip, Marsh Harbour, Abaco: Landplane".
