it is expedient that the same should be dissolved.
I DO THEREFORE issue this my Proclamation dissolving
the General Assembly and the same is hereby dissolved accord-
ingly.

tions Act 1946 (Noi19), Public Notice is hereby given that Writs
have been issued under the Public Seal of the said Islands for

To whom it may concern, notice is hereby given that the
building at the north west corner of the Eastern Parade is in a
dilapidated and ruinous condition.
The Public Board of Works requires that this building is
removed, pulled down, or the same put in a complete state of
repair within 60 days from the date of this notice.
If at the expiration of such 60 days, this building shall nol
have been removed, pulled down, or repaired, the Board will
'ake action and have the building sold at Public Auction.

Tuesday: Dinner and Supper Dishes Pressure Cooking and

Thursday: Courses specially designed for Graduate and
Undergraduate Nurses, Foodhandlers and all stud-
ents interested in meal planning.
Fee for each course of six Lectures 1 to be paid on
enrolment. Intending students should enrol at the Southern
Senior School on May 16th, 1956 at 6:30 p.m.
At the end of this course, the Domestic Science Continuation
Classes will close for the Summer Holidays. A new course will
begin in September when the Board Schools reopen.

NOTICE
The Public Board of Works offers the following road rein-
statement contracts in the Southern District:-
(1) Comfort Street (645 feet)
(2) Labour Street (647 feet)
(3) Honeycombe Street (644 feet) from Hay St. to
Taylor St.
(4) Wildon Street (335 feet) from Market to Hay St.
(5) Spence Street (Masons Addition) (396 feet)
(6) Old Boat Alley (400 feet)
(7) Un-named street between McCullough and Burial
Ground St. about (250 feet)
These alleys, and lanes, are narrow, the specification calls
for scarifying, ballasting, grading to suitable camber, rolled and
compacted, then asphalted with two applications asphalt amount-
ing to 3/4 gallons per square yard.
Each tender to be cleanly marked, and a lump sum stated,
which shall include the cost of the asphalt to be supplied duty
free, from P.W.D. stores, the Contractor to provide own equip-
ment.
Sealed tenders will be received by the Clerk, Public Board
of Works not later than noon May 18th, the Board reserving the
right of accepting or rejecting any or all tenders.

BOARD OF EDUCATION
The Board of Education are desirous of obtaining two or
more pieces of land for the erection of Preparatory Schools.
One should if possible, be in the area bounded by Collin's
wall on the East, Augusta Street on the West, Cocoanut Grove on
the South and Cambridge Lane on the North.
An other should if possible, be in the area bounded by
Montrose Avenue on the West, Kemp Road on the East, and be
within half a mile or so of Wulff Road to the North and to the
South.
The third should if possible be situated on or near East
Street South of the Police Barracks or in the Fort Fincastle area.
Offers to sell stating dimensions and price should be lodged
with the undersigned as soon as possible.
Each piece should be not less than 160 feet by 300 feet, but
the Board will consider purchasing larger pieces.
