SALE OF LAND AT OAKES FIELD
The Airports Board will offer for sale to the general public
plots of land now available in Sub-division A of the Oakes Field
disposable land area at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, 30th January, 1956.
A copy .of the plan showing the lots to be sold can be
seen in the office of the Airport Accountant, Oakes Field during,
office hours.
The sale commencing on 30th January will be on a 'cash
basis and purchasers will be required to pay 'a deposit of 10%
of the value of the land immediately and the balance on delivery
of title.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
Made Under
THE TAXI-CAB ACT 1943
(No. 27 of 1943).
In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Governor in
Council by section 6 of The Taxi-Cab Act, the following Order
is hereby made:-
1. This Order may be cited as The Taxi-Cabs (Limitation
of Numbers) Order, 1956.
2. No more than two hundred and fifty taxi-cabs may be
licensed and registered at any one time.
3. The Taxi-Cabs (Limitation of Numbers) Order, 1955 is
hereby revoked.
