The following Government Notice is published as a supple-
ment to ths Gazette:-
No. 6-The Wild Birds Protection (Reserves) Order 1956-M.P.
6942.

No. 7.
Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Labour
Liaison Officer at a salary of 800 per annum plus an allowance
of $10 U.S. per day while in the United States. Allowances are
also paid for travelling.
The Assistant Labour Liaison Officer will be required to
reside in the United States and will be stationed initially in
Orlando, Florida.
Applications will be received by the Acting Colonial Secre-
tary up to and including the 28th January, 1956.

PRESS NOTICE
Applications are invited for the post of Clerk/Stenographer
for the Resident Engineer and the Clerk of Works of the Civil
Aviation Department on the re-construction of Windsor Field.
Employment will be at Oakes Field initially and later at Windsor
Field and transport will be provided from Nassau. The post
will be non-pensionable and an initial salary of 500 in the scale
500-20-600 is offered.
Forms of application can be obtained from the Director of
Civil Aviation at Oakes Airport, P. O. Box 975, and should be
returned not later than Saturday, 21st January, 1956.

Made Under
THE WILD BIRDS PROTECTION ACT
(No. 52 of 1952).
In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Governor in
Council by section 4 of the Wild Birds Protection Act, the
following Order is hereby made:
1. This Order may be cited as the Wild Birds Protection
(Reserves) Order 1956.
2. The places described in the Schedule to this Order are
hereby reserved for the protection of wild birds.

Explanatory Note:
This Order establishes as a reserve for the protection of wild
birds, the place mentioned in the Schedule thereto. Section 4
of the Wild Birds Protection Act makes it an offence for any
person to enter upon any such reserve with intent to kill or
capture wild birds.
