TENDERS
The construction of roads in the northern area of Eleuthera:-
Tenders are invited from Bona fide contractors for construc-
tion of the following roads in Northern Eleuthera.
1. Construction of road from Genes Bay to Long Point approxi-
mate distance 3 miles 7 furlongs 2 chains.
2. Construction of road from Current Settlement to Lower Bogue,
approximate distance 6 miles 4 furlongs.

3. Construction of road Lower Bogue Settlement, connecting
main road to Upper Bogue cross road, distance approximately
2 furlongs 2 chains.
4. Construction of road Lower Bogue Settlement from Main road
to cemetery, approximate distance 1 furlong 3 chains.
All the above mentioned roads to be scarified, compacted,
graded and thoroughly rolled with (2) two coats of "Colas" emul-
sion to a width of 14 ft. between shoulders.
The successful contractor will be required to supply all
materials including labour and mechanical equipment.
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
Sealed tenders endorsed construction of roads Northern Eleu-
thera must be delivered to the undesigned from whom specifica-
tions and further information may be obtained before noon on
30th September, 1955.

THE SUPREME COURT (Adoption of Children)
(Amendment) Rules, 1955.
Made Under
The Adoption of Children Act, 1954.
In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Chief Justice
by section 17 of the Adoption of Children Act, 1954, the following
rules are hereby made:-
1. These rules may be cited as The Supreme Court (Adoption
of Children) Amendment) Rules, 1955.
2, Paragraph 2 of Form 3 in the First Schedule to the
Supreme Court (Adoption of Children) Rules, 1954, is
hereby amended by deleting therefrom the expression
"and domiciled" occurring therein.
Made this 23rd day of August, 1955, at Nassau in the Bahamas.
