the Rt. Hon. The Secretary of State for the Colonies that Her
Majesty The Queen has been advised not to exercise her power of
disallowance with respect to the following Act of the Legislature
of the Bahama Islands:-
No. 13 of 1955 The Margaret Wilton Francis Pension Act 1955.
His Excellency the Agzing Governor directs that the above-
mentioned Act shall come into operation as on and from the 20th
June, 1955.

It is hereby notified that The Carriage by Air (Non-Inter-
national Carriage) (Colonies Protectorates and Trust Territories)
(Amend) Order, 1955, copies of which may be purchased at the
Secretariat, came into operation on the 1st July, 1955.
2. The' purpose of this Order is to clarify the definition of
"Governor of a territory" in the Carriage by Air (Non-Interna-
tional Carriage) (Colonies, Protectorates and Trust Territories)
Order, 1953. Two typographical errors have also been corrected
in that Order.

NOTICE
Tenders are hereby invited for the following supplies to
Tomato Growers' Associations during the coming season:
1. Straight and curved side (30 lb.) Tomato Lugs each, made
in U.S.A.
2. 9x9 White Tomato wraps printed (9,600 sheets) per bundle.
3. Four-penny needle point cement coated nails per keg of
100 lbs.
4. Six penny sinkers per keg of 100 lbs.
Sealed tenders should be submitted to the office of the under-
signed not later than noon of October 10th, 1955.
The following should be borne in mind when submitting ten-
ders:
A. Arrangements for supplying the above materials must
be made directly with the Associations concerned when
contract is awarded.
B. Financial responsibility rests entirely with the Associations
supplied and the Board is not responsible for any shortages
due to breakage etc.
C. The Board will assist by collecting on behalf of the con-
tractor when packed lugs are sold.

D. In the event of consignments being necessary, packing
material will not be settled for until such time as account

POLICE NOTICE
The attention of the Public is drawn to The Wild Birds Pro-
tection Amendment Act 1954, which shall be read and construed
as one with The Wild Birds Protection Act 1952.
This Act:
(1) Sets a bag limit of fifty wild birds a day, during the open
season.
(2) Forbids any person to be in possession of more than two
hundred wild birds at any one time.
(3) SCHEDULE

or eggs taken together with all weapons, vessels and other equip-
ment used for the taking or conveyance of any wild birds killed
or captured in such manner as to be an offence under the Act.
6. A reward of 100 is payable to any person giving informa-
tion leading to the conviction of an offender.

Wilton Francis Pension Act 1955 (No. 13 of 1955) is published for
general information.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
Made Under
THE MARGARET WILTON FRANCIS PENSION ACT 1955.
In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Governor in
Council by Section 2 of the Margaret Wilton Francis Pension Act
1955, the following Order is hereby made:
1. This Orde!r may be cited as the Margaret Wilton Francis
Pension Order, 1955.
2. A pension at the rate of one hundred and fifty-eigth Pounds
( 158) per annum is hereby granted to Margaret Wilton Francis
as from the 20th June, 1955.
3. The pension granted by this Order shall be in satisfaction
of and in substitution for any right, title, interest or claim to or
in any pension or gratuity which she now has or may have under
any other Act.
