appointments to take effect from the 18th May, 1955:-

Senior Assistant Secretary.
Mr. J. H. Johnson, Chief Clerk to be Acting Junior Assistant

Mr. F. M. Noad, Deputy Colonial Secretary, eleven weeks
and five days vacation leave with effect from the 18th May, 1955,
to be followed by three days leave on half pay.

It is hereby notified that an application for registration
under the Industries Encouragement Act 1951 has been received
from Dr. Kurt J. Heinicke who intends to manufacture Stainless
Steel pump units with the use of Stainless Steel and Teflon ('a
product similar to Nylon). It is proposed to establish this factory
at Building No. 117 at Oakes Field.
2. Any person objecting to the registration of such factory

of such objection to the Colonial Secretary before the 2nd June,
1955.

LICENSING OF BICYCLES
For the convenience of bicycle owners, police inspection of
bicycles will be undertaken at Fox Hill Police Station from 2:30
p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, and at Cable Beach Police
Station from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 26. Bicycles
will be inspected only. Licences can be obtained at Licensing
Office, Fort Charlotte on production of a certificate of inspection
which will be issued.

RULES
MADE UNDER
THE AGRICULTURAL AND MARINE PRODUCTS BOARD ACT
(Ch. 223).
In exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 4
of The Agricultural and Marine Products Board Act (Ch. 223).
the Board with the approval of the Governor-in-Council, hereby
makes the following Rules:-
1. These Rules may be cited as The Marine Products
(Fisheries) Amendment Rules 1955.
2. Rule 25 of The Marine Products (Fisheries) Rules 1954, is
hereby amended by deleting therefrom the words "Green Turtle,
Hawksbill turtle or".
Made by The Agricultural and Marine Products Board this
4th day of May 1955.
