1954, the Governor in Council declared that it was his intention to
acquire the land described in the Schedule hereto
AND WHEREAS a claim for compensation has been lodged
by Roy Roswell Miller with the Colonial Secretary for the said
land

land has been appropriated by the Governor in council for the

The public is hereby notified that certain errors as listed
hereunder were made in the printing of the Petroleum Regulations
1945 Amendment Regulations 1954 published in Government Notice
No. 169 as a supplement to the Official Gazette of 1954:
1. The word "circumstances" appearing in the fourth line of
Regulation 2 at page 1 should read "circumstance".
2. Form A of the Second Schedule
(i) The word "license" appearing in the third line of
Clause 1 at page 3 should read "licence".
(ii) The word "assignment" appearing in the marginal
note to Clause 10 at page 5 should read "assign-
ment".
(iii) The marginal note to Clause 18 at page 7 is the mar-
ginal note to Clause 19 and the word "Renewal"
should be inserted as the marginal note to Clause 18.
(iv) The words "of such a shape as to comply with the
Regulations in force" appearing in the last line of
Clause 20(1) at page 8 should be deleted and' the
words "added to the periods fixed by this licence"
substituted therefore.
3. From B of the Second Schedule
(i) The words "on the licenced area and shall thereafter
with due diligence continue drilling such well until
oil or gas is discovered therein or" appearing in the
tenth and eleventh lines of Clause 6(3) at the top
of page 17 should be deleted.
(ii) The word "Licenee's" appearing in the fifth line of
Clause 6(6) at page 17 should read "Licensee's".
(iii) The word "shall" should be inserted in the fifth line
of Clause 32 at page 25 after the word "representa-
tive".
(iv) The word "Licenses" appearing in the ninth line of
Clause 36(i) at page 27 should read "Licensee".
(v) The word "Each" appearing in the first line of Clause
42(3) at page 29 should read "Each".
(vi) The word "shall" should' be instertcd in the first line
of Clause 42(3) at page 29 after the word "Lease".
4. Form C of the Second Schedule
(i) The words "owner or" should be inserted in the ninth
line of Clause 9 at page 35 before the word "owners".
(ii) The fullstop appearing at the end of Clause 9 at
page 35 should be deleted and a dash substituted
therefore.
