The following Government Notice is published as a Supplement
to this Gazette:-
NO 157. The Hallam Reginald Ryan Pension Order 1954.
M.P. P. 257.
NO. 158. His Excellency the Governor has approved the following
appointment:-
Mr. E. G. Taylor Public School Teacher to be a Commis
sioner Grade III on probation with effect from the 1st Oc-
tober, 1954. M.P. P. 814.

The following Officers in the Secretariat have resumed the duties
of their offices with effect from the 14th October, 1954:-

His Excellency the Governor has been informed by the Right
Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies that Her Majesty
the Queen will not be advised to xeercise Her Power of Disallowance
with respect to the following Act of the Legislature of the Bahama
Islands:-
NO. 63 of 1954 The Milton Henry Cleare Pension Act 1954.
2. His Excellency directs that the above mentioned Act shall
come into operation as on and from the 22nd July, 1954.

(No. 28 of 1952) is published for general information.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
MADE UNDER
THE PENSIONS ACT
(No. 28 of 1952)
In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Governor-in-Coun-
cil by Section 4 and 7 of the Pensions Act, the following Order
is hereby made:
1. This Order may be cited as the Hallam Reginald Ryan Pen-
sion Order 1954.
2. A Pension at the rate of Three Hundred and Three Pounds
Fifteen Shillings (303. 15. 0.) per annum is hereby granted to Hallam
Reginald Ryan as from the 1st day of October, 1954.
Ordered in Council this 9th day of October, 1954.
