appointment:-
Mrs. Geraldine Murdoch, Clerk Grade III, to act as As-
sistant Registrar General during the absence on leave
of Mr. N. C. Roberts, M.B.E., with effect from the 16th

NO. 123. His Excellency the Governor has been informed by the
Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Col-
onies that Her Majesty the Queen will not be advised
to exercise Her Power of disallowance with respect to

Structure painted black, consisting of cast iron pipe sections

TITS BEACON IS LOCATED ON A SMALL ROCK AND IS LI-
ABLE TO BE EXTINGUISHED BY HEAVY SEAS, MARINERS WILL
TAKE RECAUTIONS ACCORDINGLY; LONG DELAYS IN RELIGHT-
ING THIS BEACON CAN BE EXPECTED.

NOTICE TO MARINERS

A flashing beacon has been erected on Little Sayles Cay, Little
Bahama Bank, particulars as follows:-
Latitude 270 2' 52" North
Longtitude 780 9' 30" West
Height White; flashing every three seconds, or twenty
flashes per minute.
Visibility Nine Miles
The structure is composed of cast iron pipe sections bolted
together. The upper portion painted black, the lower portion painted
white. The beacon is located on top of the cay and is clearly visible,
the focal plane being 47 feet above sea level.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Governor in Coun-
cil by section 6 of The Tugs Act, the following Order is hereby made.
1. This Order may be cited as The Tugs, Tenders and Lighters
(Fees) Order, 1954.
2. The Schedule to The Tugs, Tenders and Lighters (Fees)
Order, 1952 is hereby amend as follows:
(a) by deleting from item 12 the figures "15/-", "20/-",
and "30/-" and substituting therefore the figures
"1. 0. 0.", "1. 5. 0." and "1. 15. 0." respectively;
(b) by deleting from item 13 the figures "'20. 0. 0." and
substituting therefore the figures "30. 0. 0."
3. This Order will corn into force on the 1st day of October, 1954.
