NO. 74. His Excellency the Governor has approved the following
appointments:-
Sir Oswald L. Bancroft, Kt., Q.C., to be a Justice of the Peace
for Fresh Creek, Andros.

Mr. T. A. Bolstad, Assistant Superintendent of Prisons Unes-
tablished, to he Acting Assistant Superitendent of Prisons Established,
with effect from the 21st May, 1954.

With reference to Government Notice No. 66 of the 6th May, 1954,
His Excellency the Governor has appointed Mr. Stanley H. Marsh,
F.S.S., to be a Member of the Commission of Enquiry, in the place of
Mr. H. C. McLean, who has resigned, with effect from the 18th May,
1954, in accordance with Section 3 of the Commissions of Enquiry
Act, Chapter 45.

New York, U.S.A., by the Surrogate's Court of New York County
on the 25th November, 1952.

real and personal estates of William Pinder, late of the Settlement
of Eight Mile Rock, Grand Bahama, Carpenter, deceased.
NOTICE is hereby given that such application will be heard by

CIVIL AVIATION DEPARTMENT,
Oakes' International Airport,
Nassau, N.P.,
20th May, 1954.
Tenders are invited by the Civil Aviation Department for the
purchase of the following items:-
1 Army Jeep
1 Dcdge Ambulance
1 Jeep Sta:ion Wagon
1 Clark Tractcr
1 2-ton G.M.C. Truck wi'h extra tyres
These items are now cpen for inspection between the hours of
9-00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Fridays and 9:00 a.m. to
12:00 noon on Saturdays and may be seen on application to the
Maintenance Superintendent whose office is located near the en-
trance to the Main'enance Compound.
The vehicles may be tendered for separately or in toto and must
be removed from the Airport area within 14 days from the date of
purchase.
All tenders should be enclosed in envelopes properly sealed and
marked "TENDER FOR VEHICLES". They should be submitted to
the office of the Ac'ine Director of Civil Avia'ion, Oakes' Interna-
tional Airport, P. O. Box 975, Nassau, not later than 5:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, 2nd June, 1954.
