ruary, 1954, it is hereby notified that during the temporary absence
from New Providence of His Excellency the Governor on a visit to
certain Out Islands from the 24.h to 30th March, 1954, the Honourable
A. G. H. Gardner-Brown, M.E.C., Colonial Secretary, is acting as His
Excellency's Deputy.

NOTICE OF SITTING OF THE LICENSING AUTHORITY

THE LIQUOR LICENCES ACT 1938.
NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Licensing Au-
thority for the Island of New Providence, will be held at the
Magistrate's Court on Thursday the 8th day of April, 1954, at
4:30 o'clock for the purpose of granting licences (and transfers
of licences) under the above Act.

MADE UNDER
THE CUSTOMS REGULATIONS ACT
(Ch. 130)
In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Governor in Coun-
cil by Section 3 of the Customs Regulations Act, the following Order
is hereby made:
1. This Order may be cited as the Customs Regulations (Land-
ing Placrt) Order, 1954.
2. The places mentioned in the Schedule to this Order are here-
by appointed landing places for the boarding by officers of Customs,
of vessels not engaged in commerce.
SCHEDULE
The Nassau Yacht Haven, New Providence.
The Wharf at the Prince George Hotel, Nassau, New Provi-
dence
The East Bay Yacht Basin, New Providence.
3. The Customs Regulations (Landing Places) Order 1951 is
hereby revoked.
