It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-in-Council,
acting under the authority of Section 6 of the Public Holidays Act,
1938 (Ch. 15) has authorised the carrying on of business in any shop
after the hour of 12 o'clock noon on Friday, the 12th March, and
Friday the 9th April, 1954.

In accordance with the provisions of regulations 15 and 16 of
the Navigation (Licensing of Air Services) Regulations, the Licensing
Authority of the Colony hereby publish the following particulars of
their decisions regarding the grant, conditional grant, or refusal of
a Licence to operate the undermentioned proposed Service and/or
of their revocation or suspension of existing Licence to operate the
Service spccifle.d

DECISION
(2) Application refused for the following reasons) The services
already provided on the Nassau-Andros Town route are more than
adequate to meet the available traffic, about 100% more passenger-

seats being offered than are taken up; and the Approved Scheduled
Carrier is prepared to extend the scheduled service from Andros
Town to the West Side of Andros when traffic on this extended
route is offered.
