ceived from the Bahamas To-
bacco Company, Ltd. for the
pulse of manufacturing cig-
ars with the use of tobacco,
cellophane, cardboard, wood
and glue at the Company's
factory on the eastern side of
Mackay Street, north of Shir-
ley Street.
2. Any person objecting to
tl]e registration of the Baha-
mas Tobacco Company accord-
ingly should give notice in
writing of his objection and of
the grounds of such objection
to the Colonial Secretary be-
fore the 24th day of October.

tice of the Peace, and empower
him to try cases singly within
the limits of any district or
ara to bh defined by the Order
during the period to be specl-
fled in such Order:
NOW THEREFORE The Gov-
ernor in Council in exercise of
the powers vested in him by
the said section 10 of the Mag-
istrates Act hereby nominates
Mr. Leonard Joseph Knowles.
Justice of the Peace to try

THE SECONDARY SCHOOL
ACT (Ch. 235)

In exercise of the powers
conferred upon the Governor
in Council by section 10 of the
Secondary School Act, the fol-
lowing Rules are hereby made:
1. These Rules may be cited
as the Secondary School (Ccm-
mittee) Rules 1944, (Amend-
ment) Rules 1953.
2. Rule 2 of the Secondary
School (Committee) Rules 1944
is hereby amended by deleting
therefrom the name "The
Honourable A. F. Add rl y,
M.L.C." and by substilut'ng
therefore the name "The Hon-
ourable E. A. P. Dupuch, M.E.C..
M.H.A."
