It is hereby .notified that Mr.
V. S. H. Lotmore, Superinten-
dent, Boys' Industrial School,
has been granted four weeks
vacation leave with effect from
the 10th August, 1953.
Consequent upon the absence
of Mr. Lotmore, Mr. L. V. Tay-
lor. Assistant Superintendent,
has been appointed to act as
Superintendent, Boys' Indus-
trial School,, in conjunction
with the duties of his own of-
fice, with effect from the 10th
August, 1953.

NOTICE OF INTENTION
given under
THE ACQUISITION OF LAND
ACT (CHAPTER 265)

WHEREAS it appears to His
Excellency the Governor that
the land described in the Sche-
dule hereto is required for a
public purpose.
NOW THEREFORE, it is
hereby notified that it is the
intention of His Excellency the
Governor in Council to acquire
the said land for a public pur-


pose to wit: Teacher's Cottage
All persons interested in the
said land shall within 30 days
of the publication of this no-
tice state in writing to the Co-
lonial Secretary of the Colony
the nature of their respective
Interests in the said land and
the amount and particulars of
their' claim to compensation
for such interests.
SCHEDULE
All that certain tract or par-
cel of land situated in Rolle
Town, Exuma and bounded as
follows:-
On the North by a public
road running through the set-
tlement and running thereon
90 feet; on the East by a straight
line 298 feet long extending
from the said public road
through the settlement, along
the western boundary of lot of
Leve Rolle for 130 feet and from
thence along the Commonage
for 168 ft., to the main public
road; on the south by the main
public road and running there-
on 90 feet; on the west by a
straight line 298 feet long ex-
tending from the public road
running through the settlement
as afore-nientioned, along the
eastern boundary of lot of
Clarence Rolle for 150 feet and
from thence along the Com-
monage for 148 feet, to the
main public road.

ust, 1953.
