In exercise of the powers
conferred upon the Chief Jus-
tice by Section 41 of the Su-
preme Court Act (Chapter 33)
and subject to the approval of
the Governor in Council the
following rules are hereby
made:-
Short title & Commencement
1. These rules may be cited
as the Supreme Court (Increase
of Court Fees) (Amendment)
Rules 1953 and shall come into
operation on the 1st of June,
1953.
Fees in Schedule A increased
2. The fees of Court set out
in Rebhenle A of the Supreme
Court Rules shall be reckoned
ad if to the amount prescribed
in the said Schedule there were
added a sum equal to twenty
five per centum of the amount
so prescribed:
Provided that where any
such addition results in a frac-
tion of a penny the total


amount shall be calculated to
the nearest penny.

tice by Sections 125 and 207 of
the Magistrates Act (Chapter
43) and subject to the approval
of the Governor m Council the
following rules are hereby
made:-
Short Title & Commencement
1. These rules may be cited
as the Magistrates (Increase
of Court Fees) (Amendment)
Rules of Court, 1953, and shall
come into operation on the 1st
day of June, 1953.
Amendrs rules published 13th
October, 1934.
2. These Rules of Court in
Civil Proceedings made on the
10th day of September, 1934
and published in Official Ga-
zette of the 13th October, 1934,
and hereinafter referred to as
the Magistrates Rules of Court,
1934. and are hereby amended
by Inserting immediately be-
fore rule 1 thereof the follow-
ing rule:-
"1A. These rules may be
cited as the Magistrates Rules
of Court, 1934."

Officer at a salary of 800 p.a.
plus an allowance of $8 U.S.

be required to take up his duties
before the 10th June, 1953.

ACT
(Ch. 223)

In exercise of the powers
conferred upon it by section 4
of the Agricultural and Marine
Products Board Act, the Agri-
cultural and Marine Products
Board with the approval of the
Governor in Council hereby
makes the following Rules:-
1. These Rules may be
cited as the Marine Products
(Fish) Rules, 1944 (Amend-
ment) Rules, 1953.
2. The Marine Products
(Fish) Rules, 1944, as amended
by the Marine Products (Fish)
(Amendment) Rules, 1951, are
hereby further amended by de-
leting therefrom Rule 7A,
which prohibits the sale and
export of Mutton Fish.

of Bonefish) Rules, 1953.

SHORT TITLE
1. These Rules may be
cited as The Agricultural and
Marine Products (Netting of
Bonefish) Rules, 1953.

Prohibition of the Netting of
Bonefish

2. (a) On and after the 1st
day of June, 1953, and
until further notice no
person shall within the
harbour of Harbour Island,
whether on behalf of him-
self or any other person,
take, capture, destroy or
kill any Bonefish by net-
ting.
(b) for the purpose of this
Rule the harbour of Har-
bour Island shall include
all that body of water
bounded on the east by
Harbour Island and on the
east and north-east by
Man Island and on the
north, south and west by
the Northern part of the
Island of Eleuthera.

PENALTY
3. Any person who com-
mits a breach of these Rules
shall be liable on summary con-
viction to a fine of Twenty-five
pounds.
