GIVEN UNDER
THE ACQUISITION OF LAND
ACT (Ch. 265)

WHEREAS it appears to His
Excellency the Governor in
Council that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is re-
quired for a public purpose.
NOW THEREFORE it is here-
by notified that it is the inten-
tion of His Excellency the Gov-
ernor in Council to acquire the
said land for a public purpose.


All persons interested in the
said land shall within 30 days
of the publication of this No-
tice state in writing to the Co-
lonial Secretary of the Colony
the nature of their respective
interests in the land and the
amount and particulars of their
claim to compensation for
such interests.
SCHEDULE
All that area of land situate
in the City of Nassau in the
vicinity of Fort Fincastle, the
boundaries of which commence
at a point marked by an iron
pipe at the Eastern corner of
the junction of Munnings
Street and Sands Alley, and
extend thence N 83 degrees 02'

grees 37' 40" W. 28.38 ft. thence

Jurors who served during
the April Sessions of the Su-
preme Court are hereby noti-
fied that the fees due to them


in respect of their attendance
will be paid at the Registrar
General's Office on April 20th,
21st and 22nd next.
Jurors receiving an amount
exceeding Two Pounds are re-
quired to bring a twopence (2)
stamp or twopence in cash to
cover stamp duty on receipt.
If possible, Jurors should
apply in person, but in cases
where this is not practicable,
monies will be paid to any au-
thorised person presenting a
written order signed by the
Juror.
Owing to Financial Rules,
any monies not paid out to
Jurors after April 22nd must
be returned to the Treasury
and thereafter it will be neces-
sary for unpaid Jurors to apply
to the Registrar General's Of-
fice for a Claim on the Trea-
sury.
