TENDERS FOR SCAVENGING FOR THE NARIVA-MAYARO COUNTY COUNCIL

TENDERS are invited for Scavenging for the Nariva-Mayaro County Council for the 12-month period 1st July, 1969 to 30th June,
1970.
Tender Forms, the Schedule of Scavenging Districts, Conditions of Contract and Vehicle Ownership Forms may be obtained
from the Secretary, of the Tenders Committee of the Nariva-Mayaro County Council at the County Hall, Rio Claro, during
normal working hours.
2. Sepa ate tenders must be submitted for each district and contacts may be awarded for any or all of the districts.
3. Each person wishing to tender must pay to the Nariva-Mayaro County Council a tender deposit of $50.00 for each district
and attach the receipt to the respective tender.
4. Each successful tenderer must pay a Performance Deposit of $100.00 per District within 7 days of the award. Refunds
will be made under the usual conditions.
5. Each tender must be accompanied by the usual up-to-date Income Tax Certificate not more than six (6) months old.
6. No increase in the contract price will be permitted during the contract period because of an increase in wages to the
contractors' employees or to Government employees.
7. Tenders will be received up to 4.00 p.m. Monday, 5th May, 1969 and must be in plain, sealed envelopes, addressed to the
Chairman of the Nariva-Mayaro County Council Tenders Committee, County Hall, Rio Claro and marked on the outside,
"Scavenging for Nariva-Mayaro County Council". Tenders must be deposited in the Tenders Box at the County Council's Office.
8. The Tenders Committee does not bind itself to accept any tender.

TENDERS FOR SUPPLY AND TRANSPORT OF MATERIALS FOR THE NARIVA-MAYARO COUNTY COUNCIL,
1969-1970

TENDERS are invited for the supply and transport of road-making materials delivered to job sites for use of the Nariva-Mayaro
County Council in the Wards of Charuma, Cocal and Guayaguayare for the period commencing 1st June, 1969 to 31st May, 1970.

Tender forms, a Schedule of materials required for each Ward, estimated requirements, conditions of contract and vehicle
ownership forms can be obtained from the Secretary, Nariva-Mayaro County Council, during normal working hours.
2. Separate tenders must be submitted on the relevant tender forms for each type of material for each Ward and a separate
contract may be awarded for any item for any Ward.
3. Samples of the materials offered must be submitted to the Road Officer on the day tenders close in boxes 10"X 10"x 10"-
The source of supply must be stated. The tenderer's name and address must be clearly written on the sample box.
4. Each person wishing to tender must pay to the Nariva-Mayaro County Council, a tender deposit of $50.00 for each type
of material for each Ward, and attach the receipt to the relevant tender.
5. No increases in the contract price will be allowed because of an increase in wages to the contractor's employees or to
Government employees.
6. Each successful tenderer must pay a Performance Deposit of $100.00 in respect of each contract within seven (7) days
of award.

TENDERS FOR RADIO TELEPHONE SYSTEM FOR THE WATER AND SEWERAGE AUTHORITY

TENDERS are invited for the supply and installation of twelve (12) Radio-Telephone Sets and one (1) Base Station for the Water
and Sewerage Authority in accordance with specifications which are obtainable from the Office of the Central Tenders Board,
31, St. Vincent Street, Port-of-Spain.
2. Separate duty-paid prices in Trinidad and Tobago currency and firm completion periods must be quoted for the supply
of the units and their installation.
3. Prospective tenderers are required to pay to the Cashier, Water and Sewerage Authority, a Tender Deposit of $50.00
and attach the receipt to their tenders.
4. Each tender must be accompanied by the usual Income Tax Certificate not more than 6 months old.
5. The successful tenderer must pay a Cash Performance Deposit of $1,000.00 to the Cashier, Water and Sewerage Authority
within seven (7) days of the notification of the award for the proper performance of the contract.
6. Refunds of deposits will be made under the usual conditions.
7. Sealed tenders will be received up to 4.00 p.m. on Friday, 18th April, 1969, and must be addressed to the Director of
Contracts, Central Tenders Board, 31, St. Vincent Street, Port-of-Spain. Envelopes must be marked "Tender-Supply and
Installation of Radio-Telephone Sets and Base Station" and must be deposited in the Tenders Box at the Office of the Central
Tenders Board, 31, St. Vincent Street, Port-of-Spain.
8. The Board does not bind itself to accept any tender.

1969-1970
TENDBns are invited for the supply and transport of road-making materials delivered to job sites for use by the Caroni County
Council in the Districts of Caroni as and when required during the period 1st June, 1969 to 31st May, 1970.

Tender Forms, a Schedule of type of materials with estimated requirements for each District, Conditions of Contract and
Vehicle Ownership Forms can be obtained from the Secretary of the Tenders Committee of the Caroni County Council, during
normal working hours.

2. Separate tenders must be submitted on the relevant tender forms for each type of material for each District and a separate
contract may be awarded for any item for any District. The Council is not obligated to buy either the estimated or any quantities
of material.

3. Only licensed trucks must be used on these contracts and tenderers must certify that the trucks they propose to use are
not committed for use in any other contracts.
4. Each person wishing to tender must pay to the Cashier of the Caroni County Council, a tender deposit of $50.00 for each
type of material for each district and attach the receipt to the relevant tender.

5. Properly labelled samples (J cubic foot) must be deposited in the office of the Chief Executive Officer, Caroni, Chaguanas,
before tenders are closed and tenders in respect of which samples are not received will not be considered.

6. No increases in the contract prices will be allowed because of any increase in wages that may be granted to the contractors'
employees or to Government employees during the contract period.

7. Each successful tenderer must pay a Performance Deposit of $100.00 in respect of each contract within seven (7) days
of award.

8. Refunds of Deposits will be made under the usual conditions.

9. Each person who tenders must submit the usual up-to-date Income Tax Certificate.

10. Sealed tenders will be received up to 4.00 p.m. on 23rd April, 1969 and must be addressed to the Chairman, Caroni County
Council Tenders Committee. Envelopes must be marked-"Tender-Supply and Transport of Materials for the Caroni County
Council" and must be deposited in the Brown Tenders Box at the County Hall, Chaguanas. Late tenders will not be con-
sidered.

NATIONAL LOTTERIES DRAW No. 5
(National Lotteries Regulations, 1969)

NOTICE is hereby given that with lawful authority under the provisions of the National Lotteries Regulations, 1969, made in
accordance with section 31 of the National Lotteries Act, 1968, the National Lotteries Control Board has appointed Saturday the
5th day of April, 1969 at 7.15 o'clock in the evening at Television House, Maraval Road, Port-of-Spain, as the day, hour and
venue at which Draw No. 5 of the National Lottery of Trinidad and Tobago will be held to determine the numbers of the Winning
Tickets.

ORDER MADE BY THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, UNDER SECTION 44 (f) (1) OF TH MOTOR VEHICLES AND ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE,
CH. 16. No. 3, AS AMENDED BY SECTION 2 OF ACT NO. 3 OF 1969, OB THE CONTROL OF TRAFFIC IN THE VICINITY OF UNION
PARK, SAN FERNANDO, ON THE OCCASION OF HORSE RACING ON 5TH, 7TH, 12TH, 19TH AND 26TH APmI, 1969.

1. This Order shall come into operation at 10.00 a.m. and shall cease at 7.30 p.m. on the dates mentioned above.

2. During the times mentioned in paragraph 1, no person shall cause or permit a motor vehicle to remain stationary on the
Guaracara-Tabaquite Road, between the Southern Main Road and Union Road.

3. The parking of motor vehicles shall be prohibited on:-
(a) The Southern Main Road between Guaracara Bridge and the Marabella Roundabout.
(b) Union Road.
(c) The roads of Gopaul Lands.

4. Motor vehicles shall be parked at Union Park on the direction of the Police as under:-
(a) Committee and Stewards' Motor Cars-On the space provided immediately North and South of the Main Entrance
to the Stand.
(b) Members' Motor-Cars-On the parking ground West of the Stand Enclosure.
(c) Motor-Cars of patrons-On the grounds West of the paddock and South of the Stand Enclosure. On the Guaracara-
Tabaquite Road between Union Road and Harmony Hall Road on the northern side facing
East.

5. Between the hours of 5.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. on the dates mentioned above, vehicular traffic on Guaracara-Tabaquite
Road between the Southern Main Road and Union Road shall proceed in a westerly direction only.

6. (a) Motorists approaching Union Park from North will do so by way of the Guaracara-Tabaquite Road.
(b) Motorists approaching Union Park from South will do so by way of Gopaul Road.
(c) Motorists leaving the Park will do so by way of Gopaul Road.

entitled "An Act for the Incorporation of the Trinidad and Tobago Law Society and matters incidental thereto" which it

ORDER

MADE BY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL UNDER SECTION 3 OF THE SUGAR QUOTAS
ORDINANCE

THE SUGAR QUOTAS ORDER, 1969

1. This Order may be cited as the Sugar Quotas Order, 1969.

2. (1) During the quota period from 1st February, 1969, to 31st January,
1970, the quota which each sugar manufacturer in Trinidad and Tobago shall
be permitted to sell or deliver for consumption within Trinidad and Tobago
shall be as respectively set out hereunder:-

(2) In respect of the quotas allotted for sale or delivery for consump-
tion in Trinidad and Tobago during the aforesaid quota period, each sugar
manufacturer may sell or deliver not more than one-third of his quota between
1st February and the 30th April, not more than two-fifths between the 1st May
and the 31st August, and the balance of his said quota in the remaining
months of the quota period.
(3) The sale of any quantity in excess of that approved for any of the
periods specified in subparagraph (2) shall not be permitted unless the sale
or delivery of any such portion has received the prior approval of the
Governor-General and such approval has been notified in the Gazette under
the hand of the Cabinet.

3. Subject to the quotas prescribed in paragraph 2 being fulfilled, the
quota which each sugar manufacturer in Trinidad and Tobago may export
during the quota period shall be unlimited.
