THE following Notice is published for general information:-

The Commissions of Inquiry Ordinance, Cap. 46.
No. 318.
WITH reference to Gazette Notice No. 61 of 24th September, 1958, regarding the
appointment of HAROLD EDGAR LYLE HOSTEN, ANDREW WILFRED ALBERT
REDHEAD and JoHN HENRY HOLLEY as Commissioners to enquire into and report
upon the following:-
(a) the disturbance that took place at Richmond Hill Prison on the 10th
day of August, 1958, and the causes for same; and
(b) the general organisation and administration of the said Prison;
and to make recommendations:
It is hereby notified for general information that the first sitting of the
Commission of Enquiry will commence at York House at 9.30 a.m. on Wednesday,
1st October, 1958.
2. Any parties who wish to be represented in person or by Counsel at the
hearing of the Commission should make application to the Secretary.
