Minister for Labour, Youth Development and Capital Investment Funding.
WHEREAS the Honourable GEORGE FREDERICK HOSTEN, Minister for Finance, Trade
and Industry, is absent from Grenada.
Now, THEREFORE, by virtue of the power and authority in me vested under the provisions of
section 60 of the Grenada Constitution Order set out in Schedule 2 to the Grenada Constitution
Order, and acting in accordance with the advice of the Honourable Prime Minister, I HEREBY
AUTHORISE YOU, the said FRANKLIN O'BRIEN DOLLAND as from Tuesday the 28th day of
September, 1976, to perform the functions conferred by the said Constitution on the said
GEORGE FREDERICK HOSTEN (other than the functions conferred by section 60 of the said
Constitution) in conjunction with your substantive functions of the office of Minister for Labour,
Youth Development and Capital Investment Funding until the Honourable GEORGE
FREDERICK HOSTEN returns to Grenada or until your authority for so doing is sooner
revoked by me acting as aforesaid.

GIVEN under my hand at Governmeit House in Grenada this 28th day of September,

that in persuance of the p3wer vested in Him
under the Land Acquisition Ordinance (Cap. 153)
the Governor-General acting in accordance with
the advice of the Cabinet of Grenada has been
pleased to appoint Mr. Edmund Lessey to be
the authorised officer for the purpose of the
acquisition of a lot of land mentioned and
described in the schedule hereto:--

All that lot, piece or parcel of land known as
Bellevue Estate in the parish of Saint Andrew
containing by estimation 163 acres more or less
and believed to be owned by or under the control
of Messrs. Dr. Walter Lessey, Anna Lessey, Joan

General acting as aforesaid that the land men-
tioned and described in the schedule hereto
should be acquired for a public purpose.
Now, THEREFORE in the exercise of the powers
vested in HIM by Section 3 of the Land Acquisi-
tion Ordinance, the Governor-General, acting with
the advice of the Cabinet of Grenada is pleased
to declare, and it is hereby declared hereto shall
be acquired for a public purpose, to wit, for the
purpose of Housing lots, Garden lots and
communal facilities.
