POST OF SPANISH TUTOR


For the Town of St. George
Applications are invited from suitably quali-
fied persons for the above-mentioned post.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess at
least four G.C.E. O'Level subjects and should be
able to speak and write spanish fluently.
Teacher Training would be an added
advantage.
Duties: To teach written and spoken spanish
in the Post Primary Classes of schools in the town
of St. George and selected schools of the Parish
of St. George.
Salary: will be paid in the scale appropriate
to the qualification of the successful candidate or
in the scale $4,164 180-$5,784, per annum
(plus interim salary increase).
Applications for the post should reach the
Chief Education Officer on or before 27th August,
1976.

It is hereby notified for general information
that, in pursuance of the powers vested in Him
under the Land acquisition Ordinance (Cap. 153),
-of the Revised Laws of Grenada the Governor-
General acting in accordance with the advice of
the Cabinet of Grenada has been pleased to
appoint Mr. Sylvester Sandy to be the Authorised
Officer for the purpose of the acquisition of the
lot of land mentioned and described in the
schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
All that lot, piece or parcel of land situate at
Calliste in the parish of St. George and believed
to be owned by or under the control of
Emerson Pilgrim containing by admeasurement
2 acres 3 roods 24.7 poles more or less.
The said lot is bounded as follows: -
On the North by lands believed to be owned
by George Clyne, on the South and East by the

of the Cabinet of Grenada considers that any
land should be acquired for a public purpose HE
may cause a declaration to that effect to be made.

AND WHEREAS it is considered by the Governor-
General acting as aforesaid that the land men-
tioned and described in the schedule hereto
should be acquired for a public purpose.

Now, THEREFORE, in the exercise of the powers
vested in Him by Section 3 of the Land Acquisi-
tion Ordinance, the Governor-General, acting
with the advice of the Cabinet of Grenada is
pleased to declare and it is hereby declared that
the land mentioned and described in the schedule
hereto shall be acquired for a public purpose, to
wit, for a public recreation ground.

RELEASE
It has been brought to the notice of the
Ministry of Labour that employers concerned
have not been complying with the provisions of
the Provident Fund (Agricultural Workers) Act,
1969 (No. 8 of 1969), in regard to the deduction
and payment to the Treasury of the amount of
15 cents per day worker for welfare from the
wages of daily paid workers in their employ.
The Ministry wished to emphasise that
employers who fail to pay to the Accountant
General at the Treasury or at any District
Revenue Office the above-mentioned deductions.

summary conviction, not exceeding two thousand,
five hundred dollars ($2,500) or imprisonment
